Affiliate program: earn 25% for 11 months

How the referral link works, when a referral counts, what each number on the affiliate dashboard means, and how commission turns into money in your UPI or bank account.

What you earn

Share your referral link. When someone signs up through it and later pays for a SitesPlaced plan, you earn 25% of what they actually pay, on every charge for their first 11 months. It is a share of real revenue, not a one-off bounty: if they pay ₹499 a month, you earn about ₹124 every month they keep paying, inside that window.

The 11 months are counted from their first commission, not from their signup. Charges after that window closes do not earn anything. Refer more people and the windows overlap, which is how the total grows.

Which payments count

The recurring subscription plans earn commission: Starter, Growth (including the version granted to gyms) and AI Co-founder. The one-time ₹99 student unlock and one-time celebration unlocks do not. Free trials and any charge of zero earn nothing, because there is nothing to share.

  1. 1Open your dashboard and press the Earn 25% button, next to Manage Plan. It opens Affiliate Earnings.
  2. 2Your link is at the top. It looks like https://sitesplaced.com?r=YOURCODE. The code is yours and does not change.
  3. 3Press Copy, or Share to hand it to the phone's share sheet.

The ?r= part is the whole mechanism. Any SitesPlaced page opened with it counts, so you can send someone straight to a template, a pricing page or a blog post and add ?r=YOURCODE to the end.

When a referral counts

  • Someone opens any SitesPlaced page through your link. The code is stored in their browser for 30 days.
  • The first link wins. If they already have a referral code stored from someone else's link, yours is not written over it.
  • They create a SitesPlaced account within those 30 days. The sign-up page shows your code in a field they can check or paste. If they sign up through a pop-up box instead, the code is read from the saved link the first time they open their dashboard. Either way it is attached to their account permanently and is never re-checked or re-attributed.
  • They pay for one of the eligible plans. Your commission is recorded against that charge, and again on every renewal inside the 11-month window.

The link has to be opened on their own device

The code travels in a saved link on the browser that opened it. If someone reads your message on their phone and then signs up on a laptop, or opens the link in a private window and finishes somewhere else, there is nothing to read and the referral is lost. The sign-up page is the surest route because it shows the code in a field they can see. If a referral matters, ask the person to open your link and sign up in the same browser without switching devices.

A few things stop a referral from counting, and all of them are enforced in code:

  • Referring yourself. Your own code on your own account is ignored.
  • Someone who already has an account. The code is read when the account is created. An existing user clicking your link does not become your referral.
  • Someone who is already a paying customer. They are never attached to a referrer afterwards, so nobody earns commission on a subscription they did not cause.
  • Someone already referred by another person. The first attribution stands.

Every charge is recorded once and only once, even if the payment gateway sends the same notification twice, so a renewal never pays you double.

What the dashboard shows

  • Referred is how many accounts were created through your link.
  • Paying stores is how many of those accounts currently hold a plan that earns commission.
  • Est. / month is a forward-looking guess: 25% of the monthly list price of every eligible plan those people hold, for the ones still inside their 11-month window. It is an estimate, not money you have.
  • Lifetime paid is how much has actually been paid out to you.
  • Pending (clearing) is commission that has been recorded but has not cleared yet.
  • Withdrawable is commission that has cleared and can be paid out.
  • Referred stores lists up to twenty-five of the people you referred, with a partly hidden email, a status of Paying, Signed up or Churned, and what you have earned from each of them so far.
  • Payout history shows each payout you requested with its amount, date, method and status.

Only Pending and Withdrawable are real money

Est. / month is built from list prices, so it will not match reality if someone used a promo code, pays yearly, or is on a free trial that has not converted. Treat it as a rough guide. The two balance figures are the ones taken from actual charges.

From earned to paid

  1. 1A charge goes through, and your commission is recorded as Pending.
  2. 2After 14 days it clears and moves to Withdrawable, but only while the person you referred still holds a paid plan. The hold covers the refund and chargeback window.
  3. 3Once Withdrawable is at least ₹500, the Request payout button turns on.
  4. 4Choose UPI (a UPI ID such as name@bank) or Bank transfer (account number and IFSC) and press Request. Those details are encrypted before they are stored.
  5. 5The payout is paid by hand by the SitesPlaced team, who record a transaction reference against it. Your payout then shows as paid and Lifetime paid grows.

Two things to know about the request itself. It takes your whole withdrawable balance; you cannot ask for part of it. And you can only have one payout open at a time, so the button says *Payout in progress* until the current one is settled or cancelled. If a payout is cancelled or fails, the commission goes back to withdrawable and you can request it again.

Payouts are manual, and only in rupees

There is no automatic transfer. A person at SitesPlaced sends the money to the UPI ID or bank account you gave and marks the payout paid, so it is not instant. Commission on charges billed in a currency other than INR is recorded in your history for the record but is not added to the withdrawable balance. If you refer customers outside India, ask support what happens to that balance before you count on it.

What cancels a commission

  • A refund or a chargeback. The commission for that exact charge is reversed and taken out of your balance. This works on commission that is still pending or withdrawable. If it has already been reserved for a payout or paid to you, it has to be sorted out by hand.
  • The 11-month window closing. Later renewals by the same customer simply do not record anything new.
  • Them stopping paying. Anything still pending stops clearing while they are off a paid plan. Nothing already paid to you is taken back.

Anything else, ask

The rules above are the ones the product actually enforces. Anything not listed here, including how affiliate earnings should be treated for tax, whether any deduction is made before payment, and how long a payout takes to arrive, is not written into the product. Ask support rather than assuming, and get the answer in writing before you build a business on it.

Do I have to be on a paid plan to earn?

No. The affiliate dashboard is open to any SitesPlaced account. What matters is that the people you refer pay, not that you do.

Is it 25% forever?

No. It is 25% of every charge in the first 11 months, counted from that customer's first commission. After that, their renewals stop earning. Referring more people is what keeps the total going.

Someone signed up through my link but is not in my list. Why?

The commonest reasons: they already had a SitesPlaced account, they were already paying, more than 30 days passed between the click and the signup, they had opened someone else's link first, or they opened your link on one device and signed up on another, so the saved link was not there to read. Attribution happens once, when the account is created.

My balance is stuck on Pending. What now?

Commission clears 14 days after it is recorded, and only while the person you referred is still on a paid plan. If something has sat there much longer than that and they are still a customer, contact support with the name and roughly when they paid.

Can I withdraw part of my balance?

No. A payout request takes your whole withdrawable balance, and you can only have one open at a time. The minimum is ₹500.
