Tour your store dashboard
A quick map of every part of your store dashboard — the eleven tabs, the Home overview, the phone layout, and how to publish, preview and go live.
Last updated 23 August 2026
Everything you do to run your store happens in your store dashboard. It has eleven tabs — Home, Orders, Products, Messages, AI Co-founder, Loyalty, Reviews, Subscribers, Analytics, Design and Settings — plus a header with the Open Store and Publish buttons. This page is the map: once you know what each tab does, every other guide in this section will make sense fast.
To get there, sign in at sitesplaced.com, find your store on your main Dashboard and click Manage Store. The page is titled Store Dashboard. Next to the title you will see your plan badge (Free, Starter or Growth), a Live or Draft badge, and a product count. On desktop the tabs run across the top; on a phone they sit along the bottom of the screen.
The eleven tabs
- Home — your overview. Four numbers at the top (Today, Needs action, Revenue (30d) and All time), quick actions, your store QR code, and a Needs action list of orders waiting on you.
- Orders — every order that comes in, with search by name, order number, email, phone or product. Open one to see the items, the customer's contact details and payment status, and move it through Pending → Confirmed → Shipped → Out for Delivery → Completed (or Cancelled). Details in Manage orders & shipments.
- Products — your full catalogue. Add, edit, duplicate, quick-edit and delete products here. See Add & manage products.
- Messages — enquiries sent through your store's contact form, with Read, Replied and Archived states. See Customer messages.
- AI Co-founder — the AI team, campaign planner, creative studio, carousels, SEO audit, retargeting kit and the automations (cart reminders, broadcasts, storefront assistant, scheduled promotions, Monday digest). Full access on the AI Co-founder plan; the tab shows what it does on every plan.
- Loyalty — QR stamp cards, scratch cards and locations for repeat customers, on the Growth plan. See Loyalty: QR stamp cards.
- Reviews — product reviews from your customers, waiting for your approval. Approve, reject, reply, and switch the feature on or off. See Collect product reviews.
- Subscribers — email addresses collected by the newsletter form on your storefront. You can Copy all or download them as a CSV file.
- Analytics — visits, traffic sources, top products, locations and devices. On the free plan it shows a blurred preview with an Unlock store analytics prompt; it is included with Starter and Growth.
- Design — the storefront builder. Edit the sections of your Home, About and Contact pages and write blog posts. See Design your storefront pages.
- Settings — everything else, in one searchable list: Store details, Branding, Navigation & menu, Catalog & fields, Categories, Discounts, Sales boosters, Checkout, Shipping, Payments & invoices, Pages & policies, SEO & sharing, Tracking & code, and Integrations.

Settings has a search box
Settings is one long, searchable list. Don't scroll — type what you want (e.g. menu, shipping, coupon, currency) into the Search settings… box at the top and jump straight to that card.
On your phone
On a phone the bottom bar shows Home, Orders, Products and Messages, plus a More button that opens the rest: Reviews, Subscribers, Analytics, Design, Settings, an Open store link and the Publish button. While your store is still a draft, a dark bar floats above the tab bar to guide you. It says Add a product to open your store with an Add product button until you have at least one product, then switches to Ready to go live with a Publish store button. It disappears once you are live.
The full dashboard works in any phone browser. If you prefer a native app, the SitesPlaced Android app manages orders and products and sends a push notification for every new order — see The SitesPlaced mobile app.
The Home tab in detail
Home is built for a quick morning check. The stat strip shows today's orders, how many orders need action, revenue for the last 30 days (with the order count under it) and your all-time totals. Below it are four shortcuts — Add product, Create coupon (opens Settings → Discounts), Edit announcement (opens the announcement bar in Branding) and Share store link, which opens your phone's share sheet or copies the link with the message Store link copied — share it on WhatsApp or Instagram.
The Store QR code card gives you a printable code that opens your store. Use Download PNG, Download SVG, Copy link or Print, which lays out a ready-to-print Scan to shop card. Put it on parcels, visiting cards and your shop counter. The code exists before you publish too — it starts working the moment you go live, and the link never changes.
Needs action lists orders that are waiting on you — new orders you have not confirmed and confirmed orders you have not shipped. Each row shows the order number, status, customer, amount and item count; tap it to open the order. View all takes you to the Orders tab filtered to the same list. When nothing is pending you see All caught up — every order is on its way.
Draft vs live
A new store starts as a Draft — only you can see it. When you are ready, press Publish (top-right on desktop, inside More on a phone). Publishing is free. Your store goes live instantly at your free SitesPlaced address (yourname.sitesplaced.site), and a success screen shows the link, share buttons and the option to connect your own domain. The button then reads Unpublish; pressing it asks Take your store offline? and moves the store back to draft, where visitors see nothing until you publish again.
Open Store (desktop header, or Open store under More on a phone) opens the live storefront in a new tab so you can check exactly what customers see. Use it after every change you save.
How saving works
- Settings — every edit is a draft until you press Save in the dark bar that appears at the bottom (You have unsaved changes, with Discard and Save). You can move between sections freely and save once.
- Design — each page (Home, About, Contact) is saved separately with its own Save button; an Unsaved changes label appears when there is something to save.
- Products — the product form has its own Save product / Update product button. Changes show on a published store immediately.
- Orders, Messages and Subscribers save as you go — there is nothing to press.
The agent button
Bottom-right of every dashboard screen is the SitesPlaced Agents button. Builder (it introduces itself as Brix) rewrites a headline, changes your announcement bar, adds a product or explains how a setting works — it proposes the change and you approve it before anything is saved. Co-founder (Ledger) reads your sales and visits, Growth (Bloom) writes your WhatsApp and Instagram marketing, SEO (Beacon) writes titles and descriptions. The team comes with the SitesPlaced AI Co-founder plan (₹1,499/month, everything in Growth included, 1,500 AI credits a month), together with the AI Co-founder tab in the store dashboard: a campaign planner, a creative studio for product photos, ad creatives and carousel posts, a store-wide SEO audit and a retargeting kit with Meta and Google product feeds. Every action shows its credit price before you run it, failed generations are refunded, and nothing changes on your live store until you approve it. Growth-plan sellers in the early-access testing group keep the agents; message us on WhatsApp (+91 95171 56355) with any question.
Good to know & troubleshooting
- I can't find a setting — use the search box in Settings. Every card has a name like Delivery charges or Order methods; searching for a word in the name or description jumps to it.
- My change isn't showing on the live store — look for the unsaved-changes bar in Settings or the Unsaved changes label in Design and press Save. Then reload the storefront; storefront pages are cached briefly, so give it a minute.
- The Publish button is missing on my phone — tap More in the bottom bar; Publish is at the bottom of that sheet. The floating go-live bar also hides itself while you are on a product form or have unsaved settings.
- The product count in the header shows ∞ — that is the product limit. Products are unlimited on every plan; what is capped is upload storage (500 MB on the free plan, 5 GB on Growth).
- Analytics looks blurred — it is a preview. Upgrade to Starter or Growth to unlock it; visits are recorded from day one, so the history is waiting when you do. Plan details are on the pricing page.
Where to go next
- First time here? Start with Create & publish your store.
- Before adding lots of products, do Set up your catalog once.
- Then add your products and design your storefront.
- Before you share the link, run through the go-live checklist.
Can I run the whole store from my phone?
Yes. Every tab works in a phone browser — Home, Orders, Products and Messages are on the bottom bar, the rest are under More. The Android app adds push notifications for new orders.
What is the difference between Design and Settings?
Design controls what your pages say and which sections they show. Settings controls how the store works — name, link, branding, menu, catalog, categories, discounts, checkout, shipping, payments, policies, SEO, tracking and integrations. If in doubt, search Settings for the word first.
Does Unpublish delete anything?
No. Products, orders, settings and design are all kept. The storefront simply shows nothing to visitors until you publish again, and your link stays the same.
Where do I find the link customers use?
Open Store in the header opens it, Share store link on the Home tab copies it, and the Store QR code card prints it. You can change the address itself under Settings → Store details → Store link.
