Apps & Integrations
The SitesPlaced mobile app, connecting ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants, the Developer API, and copying orders in from a WooCommerce shop.
This category covers the two ways to use SitesPlaced outside the browser dashboard: the free SitesPlaced mobile app for Android, and the MCP connector that lets ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Cursor build and edit your sites for you by chatting. Both work on the free plan, both use the same login as the web, and both see exactly the same sites, stores and products as sitesplaced.com/dashboard (orders too, in the app — the connector deliberately cannot read them). Nothing is copied or synced — there is one account and one set of sites, just three different doors into it.
How the pieces fit together
- The web dashboard is the full control room. Every setting exists there: storefront design, payments, shipping, domains, integrations, analytics and billing. If something is not in the app or not reachable over MCP, this is where you do it.
- The mobile app is for running things day to day. It is built for the moments you are away from a laptop: a new order lands and your phone buzzes, you mark it Shipped from the metro, you fix a price, you publish a site you built on the way. You can also build a brand-new site or store from the Create tab.
- The MCP connector is for building and editing by describing. You tell your AI assistant what you want — "make my hero sound more premium", "add these 5 products" — and it calls SitesPlaced directly. It deliberately cannot see orders, customers, billing or domains, so it is safe to hand a helper.
The order to do things
- 1Create your account at sitesplaced.com or straight from the app — it is the same login either way. See Create your account.
- 2Build your first site or store. Pick a template on the web, describe it to the AI on the app's Home tab, import your Instagram at /import, or ask ChatGPT or Claude to build it through MCP. All four paths produce the same kind of site.
- 3Install the app on your Android phone, sign in, and allow notifications so order alerts reach you. That is covered in The SitesPlaced mobile app.
- 4Connect an AI assistant if you like working in chat — one URL, one sign-in. See Connect SitesPlaced to ChatGPT or Claude.
- 5Upgrade on the web when you want your own domain, branding removed or AI copy. Billing always happens at /pricing in a browser; the app and MCP only point you there.
Who this is for
The app is for anyone with an Android phone who sells online or runs a site and does not want to be tied to a desk — Instagram sellers, home bakers, boutique owners, freelancers who get leads through their site. The MCP connector is for people who already live in ChatGPT or Claude and would rather describe a change than click through an editor, and for developers using Claude Code or Cursor who want to script site creation. You do not need to be technical for either: the app is a normal Play Store install, and the connector is a single address pasted into a settings screen.
Already selling on WooCommerce or Shopify?
You do not have to move your shop to use SitesPlaced. A connected shop keeps selling where it is, and a plugin copies every order into SitesPlaced, so you get the order dashboard, the mobile app, courier booking, WhatsApp order messages and a tracking page for your customers. The other platform stays in charge of payment, stock and cancellation; SitesPlaced sends back only the shipping status and tracking. The WooCommerce plugin is available now and one connected shop is free. The Shopify connector is in early access and is not open to every account yet. Developers building a custom website on top of SitesPlaced start with API keys and the Developer API.
What is not here
Store integrations that plug into your store — Razorpay, cash on delivery, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket, Shipmozo, the WhatsApp Business API and Meta Pixel — are documented where you set them up: Payments & Orders and Online Stores. The exceptions are the Judge.me review import and emailing your subscribers with Resend, which live here. For a one-page overview of everything SitesPlaced connects to, and which ones are free, see /integrations.
On iPhone?
There is no iOS app yet. The full dashboard, editor and store tools work in Safari at sitesplaced.com/dashboard — same account, same sites — and the MCP connector works from the ChatGPT or Claude app on any phone.
Is the mobile app free?
Yes. The app is free on Google Play, and so is the SitesPlaced free plan — you can build, publish and take orders from the app without paying anything. Paid plans (Starter from ₹199/month for any website or store, Growth at ₹499/month for the selling features) add a custom domain, branding removal and AI, and are bought on the web.
Do I need the app to get order notifications?
No. Every new order already triggers an email to the store owner, and you can add WhatsApp alerts from your own WhatsApp Business number on the Growth plan. The app adds a push notification on your phone the moment an order lands, which is the fastest of the three.
Does the MCP connector cost anything or need a paid plan?
No. Connecting ChatGPT or Claude is free and works on the free plan. Your assistant follows the same plan rules as the dashboard, so if a request needs a paid feature it will share a pricing link instead of doing it.
Can I use the app and the connector on the same sites?
Yes. They are the same account. A site your assistant creates shows up in the app's My Websites list within seconds, and a product you add in the app is visible to your assistant the next time it lists your products.
