Track inventory & stock
Turn on stock tracking so your store always shows what's available and never oversells, plus how to hide the stock badge.

Whether your store tracks stock at all is set once in Catalog & fields: you can not track stock, track one count per product, or track a separate count per variant (per size/colour).
How stock behaves
- Set a stock count on a product (or per variant) and SitesPlaced keeps it accurate as orders come in. Leave it blank for unlimited.
- Customers can see a "Only X left" or "in stock" badge on product pages.
- Stock limits are always enforced at checkout — even if you hide the badge — so you never oversell.
- Update stock anytime from the product list's quick-edit, or in the product form.
Hide the stock badge
Don't want customers to see how many you have left? Open Settings → Pages & policies and turn off Show stock badge. Stock is still enforced at checkout — only the on-page label is hidden.
When stock tracking is on, counts decrement automatically as orders are confirmed. You can also adjust counts by hand anytime.
