Print-on-demand with Qikink
Connect your own Qikink account so t-shirts, hoodies and mugs are printed and shipped within India when they sell — and where to put the Qikink SKU for every size and colour.
Last updated 20 September 2026
Qikink prints and ships products for you from inside India. You create the product and upload your design in Qikink, sell it on your store, and when an order comes in it is sent to Qikink, who print it, pack it and post it to your customer. Nothing is made until it sells, so there is no stock to buy and no parcels for you to handle.
You connect your own Qikink account, and Qikink bills you for printing and delivery. The connection is free on every SitesPlaced plan and we take 0% of the sale. Selling to customers abroad? Printify does the same job for the US, UK and EU.
Before you start
- A Qikink account, with every product you want to sell already created there with its design. Qikink gives each size and colour combination its own code, called an SKU. We only ever send Qikink that code — never the artwork — so the product has to exist in your Qikink account first.
- API access. The card tells you where: get your credentials from dashboard.qikink.com → Integration → Custom API. It also notes that for live orders you may need to request API access there first.
- A matching product in your store for each one, with the same sizes and colours set up as options — see How to sell a product in sizes & colours.
Step 1 — Connect your account
- 1From your store dashboard, open Settings → Integrations and find the Qikink Print-on-Demand card.
- 2Click Set Up Qikink.
- 3Paste your Client ID and Client Secret.
- 4Next to Environment, choose Live for real orders. Sandbox is Qikink's practice mode — orders go to their test system and nothing is printed.
- 5Click Connect Qikink. We check the pair with Qikink before saving anything. When it is accepted you see Qikink connected! Confirmed orders will auto-push for fulfillment. and the card turns Active.
Your Client Secret is encrypted before it is stored — see How SitesPlaced handles your keys.
Step 2 — Put the Qikink SKU on every product
This is the step that decides whether an order reaches Qikink. For each item in an order we look up one code and send it. If the customer chose a size or colour, we use the SKU typed against that exact combination. If that box is empty, or the product has no options, we use the product's own SKU.
- 1Open Products and click the product to edit it.
- 2Under Product info, find the item code field. It is labelled
skuunless you renamed it under Settings → Catalog & fields. For a product with no options — a mug, a poster — type its Qikink SKU here. - 3For a product with sizes or colours, open the Options card. The table that lists every combination has an SKU column. Type the Qikink SKU on each row: the code for Black / M on the Black / M row, and so on.
- 4Click Update product (Save product if it is a new one), and repeat for every product Qikink should print.
Cannot see the field or the column? Open Settings → Catalog & fields, find the What you fill in for each product card and tick Enabled next to sku. It is on by default.
Every item in the order needs a code
A Qikink order is all or nothing. If even one item has no SKU, the whole order is held back and nothing is sent. The order's Activity list then shows Qikink fulfillment failed: with the names of the products that are missing a code. There is no resend button, so add the missing SKU for next time and place that one order by hand in your Qikink dashboard.
What happens when someone buys
- When it is sent. The moment the order is confirmed. Cash on Delivery, Bank Transfer / UPI and WhatsApp orders are confirmed as soon as they are placed; Pay Online orders once the payment is verified. There is no approval step in between.
- What is sent. The Qikink SKU and quantity of each item, the customer's name, phone, email and delivery address, the order total, and whether it is COD or prepaid. Qikink handles the delivery.
- Order number. Qikink does not accept dashes, so
MYSTORE-0012reaches Qikink asMYSTORE0012. - In your dashboard. The order's Activity list shows Sent to Qikink for fulfillment with the Qikink order number, and a Fulfilled by Qikink box takes the place of the courier panel for that order.
- What is never sent. Orders that contain only digital downloads, and orders placed through Shiprocket Checkout.
Try it in Sandbox first
Because there is no approval step, a fake COD order would go straight to print. Connect in Sandbox, place a test order and check the right SKUs arrive in Qikink. Then click Disconnect and connect again in Live. It is also worth setting up Stop fake and spam orders.
Step 3 — Get status updates back
Once you are connected, the card shows a Status webhook URL and, under it, a secret, each with a Copy button. A webhook is a message Qikink sends your store when an order's status changes. Paste both values into the webhook settings of your Qikink dashboard. If Qikink gives you only one box for the address, add ?secret= followed by the secret to the end of the URL.
From then on, when Qikink reports a parcel as shipped, out for delivery or delivered, the order in your dashboard moves to Shipped, Out for Delivery or Completed, and the tracking number and courier are saved on it. A cancellation or a returned parcel marks the order Cancelled. Without the webhook nothing updates on its own, and you move the order along by hand.
Pausing and disconnecting
The switch on the card pauses Qikink: the status reads Paused and new orders stop being sent, while your details stay saved. Disconnect removes the Client ID, Client Secret and webhook details from our systems. Orders already sent to Qikink carry on being printed either way.
Common questions
My order did not reach Qikink.
Open the order and read its Activity list. Qikink fulfillment failed: is followed by the reason — most often a product with no SKU, or Qikink rejected the order: with Qikink's own message, such as a code that does not exist in your Qikink account. Also check the card reads Active, not Paused.
Can I sell my own products in the same store?
While Qikink is Active, every confirmed order for physical products is sent to it — not only some of them. So this connection suits a store where everything is printed by Qikink. An order that includes something you post yourself will show a failed note in Activity, and you then handle that order by hand.
Does Qikink work with Cash on Delivery?
COD orders are sent to Qikink marked as COD, and everything else as prepaid. Whether Qikink accepts COD on your account, and what it charges, is between you and Qikink.
Can I switch from Sandbox to Live?
Click Disconnect, then Set Up Qikink again and choose Live. The SKUs on your products are kept.
Where do I find a product's Qikink SKU?
In your Qikink dashboard, on the product you created there. Each size and colour has its own code, which is why your store has an SKU box for every combination.
Qikink or Printify?
Qikink prints and ships within India; Printify serves the US, UK and EU. Pick by where your customers are. One real difference: Printify only takes the items you have linked to it, while Qikink needs a code on every item in the order.
