Categories & collections
Group products into categories so customers can filter and find things — and so offers and coupons can target a group.

Categories let customers filter your catalogue ("Rings", "Necklaces", "Under ₹999") and let you target discounts at a specific group of products.
Set up categories
- 1Open Settings → Categories (or search *categories* in Settings).
- 2Add each category name once (e.g. *Rings*, *Earrings*, *Gifting*) and press Enter.
- 3When adding or editing a product, tick the categories it belongs to. The first one you tick is its primary category.
Define your categories before you add lots of products — then you can assign them as you go instead of editing everything later. Already added products with stray category names? The Categories screen can import the ones it finds so you can tidy them up.
Categories also power your storefront's category section and product filters, and the scope of your coupons and Buy-X-Get-Y offers.
