Creative studio: phone photo to product shots and ads

Turn one phone photo into catalogue images, ad creatives and festive posters. The twelve styles, the sizes, what is kept from your photo, what each quality level costs, and how to put the result on a product.

Last updated 8 September 2026

The Creative studio is the second section of the AI Co-founder tab. You give it one photo of a real product, pick a style, and it renders that product in a new scene: on a clean studio background, on a wooden table by a window, held in someone's hand, or on a festive poster with your offer written on it.

It is meant for the seller who photographs stock on a bedsheet with a phone. The photo you have is enough. What the studio changes is the surroundings: the surface, the light, the framing, the props and any text on the image.

Each image spends credits

Draft costs 2 credits, standard 12, premium 25 and ultra 45. The number is on the Generate button before you press it. If a render fails, the credits come back automatically.

Make your first image

  1. 1Open your store dashboard, go to the AI Co-founder tab, and choose Creative studio in the left rail.
  2. 2Pick a style group at the top: Product photos, Ad creatives or Festive. Then pick a style card. Each card shows its default size and quality underneath.
  3. 3Choose the Product. The list is your real catalogue, and a product with no image is marked *(no photo)*. If you have not added the product yet, leave the picker on *No product* and describe it in the box, for example *handmade terracotta diya set of 6*.
  4. 4Fill in whatever text boxes the style shows. Some styles ask for a Headline, an Offer or price and a Call to action. Whatever you type here is the exact text the studio renders on the image, so type it as you want it read.
  5. 5Set the Size and the Quality. The style already picked sensible defaults; change them if you have a specific placement in mind.
  6. 6Press Generate. Rendering usually takes 10 to 40 seconds.

The styles

Twelve styles in three groups. The size and quality after each one is what it defaults to.

Product photos

  • Studio packshot (square, standard). Clean catalogue shot on a seamless off-white background with a soft shadow. The image every product page needs first.
  • Lifestyle scene (portrait, standard). The product in a warm Indian home or café setting, with the background softly blurred.
  • Hand-held (UGC style) (story, standard). Looks like a happy customer shot it on their phone. Only a hand and forearm are shown, never a face. This is the format that performs in Reels and ads.
  • Flat lay (square, standard). Top-down arrangement with three to five props. Good for gifting, jewellery, stationery and food.
  • Premium editorial (portrait, premium). Magazine-grade hero render with dramatic single-source light, for hero banners and launch posts.
  • Food hero (portrait, premium). Appetising food and drink with texture, moisture and steam where they belong.

Ad creatives

  • Offer poster (portrait, standard). Product, headline, an offer badge and a call-to-action pill. The Meta ad and WhatsApp status workhorse.
  • Price reveal (square, standard). A large, honest price tag on a clean background.
  • Launch announcement (portrait, premium). A bold headline over a spotlit product on a dark background.
  • Story / Reel cover (story, standard). Vertical, with safe margins top and bottom, for Stories, Reels covers and WhatsApp status.

Festive

  • Diwali gifting (portrait, premium). Lit diyas, marigold petals and warm gold, with the product kept clear of clutter.
  • Festival sale banner (wide, standard). Any festival. Name it in the details box, for example *Eid*, *Raksha Bandhan*, *Navratri* or *Christmas*, and the motifs and palette follow.

Sizes

  • Square (1:1) for feed posts, product cards and WhatsApp.
  • Portrait (4:5) for the Instagram feed and Meta ads.
  • Story (9:16) for Stories, Reels covers and WhatsApp status.
  • Wide (16:9) for website banners and YouTube.
  • Tall (3:4) for a product detail page.

What is kept from your photo

Every style carries the same instruction: keep the product's shape, colour, label, pattern and proportions identical, and change only the scene, surface, lighting and camera. Every style also bans invented brand logos, fake certification marks, garbled text, extra products that are not in your photo, watermarks, and any likeness of a real person.

That is an instruction to the image model, not a guarantee. Look at what comes back before you use it.

Check the product before you publish it

Compare the render against the real thing: colour, shape, the label, the count in the pack, and every word of text on the image. An image of a product you do not actually sell is the one mistake that costs you a customer. If the render drifted, generate again or move down a style with less scene-building.

If the product you picked has no photo yet, the studio warns you and renders from the name and description instead. That is a guess. Add a phone photo to the product first; it is the single biggest thing you can do for the quality of the output.

Quality levels

  • Draft, 2 credits. Fast and rough. Use it to try three compositions before spending on the real one.
  • Standard, 12 credits. The everyday choice: social posts, WhatsApp, product cards.
  • Premium (2K), 25 credits. Hero shots, ads and banners, where the image will be large on screen.
  • Ultra, 45 credits. Best text-in-image and realism, or 4K. Worth it when the poster carries words that must be spelled correctly.

A practical order: explore in draft, settle the composition, then re-render the one you like at standard or premium.

Use the result

When the image appears you get four buttons under it:

  • Download saves the file to your computer or phone, for Instagram, WhatsApp or an ad.
  • Add to gallery attaches it to the product you picked, as an extra image on the product page.
  • Set as cover makes it the product's main image, the one shoppers see in your catalogue listing.
  • Another runs the same settings again for a different take, at the same credit cost.

The line below the image tells you what it cost and which model rendered it. Everything you generate is also collected under Recent creatives on the Overview section, so you can find last week's poster without hunting through downloads.

Generated images are stored with your store's other media and count towards the plan's 10 GB of storage, the same as anything you upload yourself. Deleting an image you no longer use frees the space back up.

Making it from an AI assistant instead

If you have connected SitesPlaced to ChatGPT or Claude with the MCP connector, you can ask your assistant to generate a store image with the same styles and quality levels, and it saves into the same library. It costs the same credits, because a real image model still runs. Your assistant is told to quote you the credit cost and get a yes before it calls.

Can I use a photo that is not on a product?

Not directly. The studio works from the image on a product in your catalogue. If you want to shoot something new, add it as a product with its phone photo first, generate the images, then edit or unpublish the product if you are not selling it yet.

The text on my poster came out misspelled.

Move up a quality level. Ultra is specifically the best at rendering text correctly. Also keep the headline short: long sentences on an image are where models slip.

Can I use these images in a Meta ad?

Yes, they are yours to use anywhere. Do check that any claim written on the image is one you can stand behind, since ad platforms hold you to it, not us.

Why does the render look like a different product?

Usually the product had no photo, so the studio invented one from the name. Add a clear, well-lit photo of the real item to the product and generate again. A plain background and a straight-on angle in your phone photo give the best results.

Do the images go on my store automatically?

No. Nothing is attached until you press Add to gallery or Set as cover. Download alone changes nothing on your store.
