Choose a store template

A template is the design of your store: how the home page is laid out, what the product cards look like, the product page and the menu. You pick one when you create the store. Every template is free on every plan. Paying for a plan never unlocks a design. It unlocks things like your own domain and AI tools.

The templates you can pick

• General Store — Works for any business. Clean and simple, with colour themes to match your brand.
• Premium Store — Gifts, perfume, handmade and higher-priced items. Warm cream, unhurried, photo-first.
• Simple Fashion Store — Clothing, in plain black and white. Big photos and very little text.
• Grocery Store — Many daily-use items. A dense product grid with one-tap add, like a delivery app.
• Astrology & Consultation Store — Astrologers, Vastu and numerology consultants, healers and crystal sellers. Bookings on WhatsApp.
• Clothing Store — T-shirts, streetwear and everyday clothing. Big photos, sizes on the card, very little text.
• Home & Decor Store — Rugs, cushions, lamps and home goods. Big photos, calm spacing, very little text.
• Jewellery Store — Rings, earrings, necklaces and silver. Shop by price, finishes shown as photos, soft and rounded.
• Food Store — Snacks, spices, coffee, sweets and packaged food. Big bold type, colourful category cards, pack sizes on the card.
• Beauty Store — Skincare, perfume and personal care. Tabbed bestsellers, benefit lines and ratings on every card.
• Electronics Store — Earbuds, chargers, gadgets and accessories. The key spec on every card, bold and dark.

Which one should I pick?

Pick the one closest to what you sell. If you sell a mix of things, pick the template for what most of your orders are. When nothing fits, the General Store works for any business.

• T-shirts, streetwear, ethnic wear and everyday clothing: Clothing Store.
• Clothing, when you want a plain black-and-white look with big photos: Simple Fashion Store.
• Rings, earrings, necklaces, silver and fashion jewellery: Jewellery Store.
• Skincare, perfume, haircare and personal care: Beauty Store.
• Rugs, cushions, lamps, wall art and home goods: Home & Decor Store.
• Earbuds, chargers, phone accessories and gadgets: Electronics Store.
• Snacks, spices, pickles, coffee, sweets and packaged food: Food Store.
• A grocery or kirana shop with many daily-use items: Grocery Store.
• Gifts, handmade pieces and higher-priced items: Premium Store.
• Astrology, Vastu, numerology and other consultations booked on WhatsApp: Astrology & Consultation Store.
• Anything else, or a mix of different things: General Store.

The newer templates fill themselves in

The Clothing Store, Home & Decor Store, Jewellery Store, Food Store, Beauty Store and Electronics Store templates are built differently from the older designs. Every section on the page is filled from your own shop: your products, your categories, your photos and your settings. There is very little text for you to write.

A section with nothing to show hides itself. For example, a reviews section stays hidden until customers have reviewed something. You will never see made-up text, ratings or numbers about your shop on these templates.

Shopping features on a new store

A store you create now starts with these switched on: an Add button on product cards, a buy bar that stays on screen on phones, star ratings on product cards (once you collect reviews) and a delivery and payment line under the buy button. Some templates also have a menu pinned to the bottom of the screen on phones. They are all free. You can switch each one off, or on for an older store, under Settings → Sales boosters. Can I change my template later?

No. The template is fixed once the store exists, because each template has its own sections and switching would wipe what you have set up on your pages. The Active template card under Settings → Branding shows which one you are on.

You can still change almost everything else: colours, fonts, logo, text, and which sections show and in what order. See Design your storefront and Branding & colours. To use a different template, create a new store with it. Do this before you add your products, because products do not move between stores on their own.

What happened to the older templates?

In September 2026 we stopped offering 13 older designs to new stores: Bakery 128, Threadlore, Halwai House, Daily Dabba, Masala Mitti, Cascara, Vridhi, Florine, Apothic, Norden Atelier, Lantern Press, Cacao Noir and Glow Studio. Each one was built for a single kind of shop and needed a lot of writing to look right.

If your store uses one of them, nothing changes. It keeps working exactly as before and you can keep editing it. If you follow an old link to one of these templates, or ask for one by name, the new store is built on the template that replaced it.
