Import your Judge.me reviews
Bring the product reviews you collected with Judge.me on Shopify, WooCommerce or elsewhere onto your SitesPlaced product pages — paste your API token, and they import in minutes.

Judge.me is the reviews app most Shopify and WooCommerce stores use. If you are moving your store to SitesPlaced, the reviews you spent months collecting can come with you: connect your Judge.me account once and every review is imported into your Reviews tab, matched to the right product, with its original date, star rating, text, photos and *verified* status. They then show on your product pages like any other review.
Read-only, and free
SitesPlaced only reads from Judge.me — it never changes or deletes anything in your Judge.me account. The import is included on every plan.
Before you start
- Add your products to your SitesPlaced store first, using the same product names as on your old store. That is how reviews are matched. (Reviews for products that don't match still import — you file them by hand afterwards.)
- Turn on product reviews in the Reviews tab so imported reviews can show on your product pages. See Collect product reviews.
- You need access to your Judge.me admin (the account you used with your old store). A Judge.me plan is not required for the API token.
Connect Judge.me
- 1In Judge.me, open Settings → Integrations → Judge.me API. Copy the Private API token and note your shop domain shown on the same screen (for a Shopify store it looks like
example.myshopify.com). - 2In your SitesPlaced store dashboard go to Settings → Integrations → Judge.me.
- 3Paste the shop domain and the private token and press Connect & import. We check the pair against Judge.me, store the token encrypted, and start importing straight away.
- 4Open the Reviews tab. Imported reviews are labelled Judge.me. Reviews that Judge.me had published are already Live; ones that were still waiting in Judge.me are Pending; hidden ones are Rejected — so your product pages look the way they did before.
Reviews that need a product
A review is matched to a product when the product's name (or its URL handle on your old store) is the same as the name in your SitesPlaced catalogue. Anything that doesn't match shows in the Reviews tab as Needs a product, with the name Judge.me used for it. Pick the right product from the dropdown on that review and it files itself; use the Needs a product filter at the top to work through them. A review can't go live until it has a product.
Keeping it in sync
With Check Judge.me for new reviews every 6 hours on (the default), any review that lands in Judge.me later is imported too — useful while both stores are live. The import is add-only: a review you have already approved, rejected, replied to or moved here is never changed by a later sync. Import now runs a check immediately.
Disconnect Judge.me forgets the token. Reviews already imported stay in your store — they are your reviews.
Moving everything?
The store importer brings your products across from a website, an Instagram profile, a PDF or another platform. Import the products first, then connect Judge.me, and the reviews match up on their own.
Which reviews are imported?
Every product review on your Judge.me account, including unpublished ones, except those you archived in Judge.me. Store-level (shop) reviews that aren't tied to a product import with no product attached; you can file or delete them.
Do reviewer emails come across?
Yes, into the private part of your dashboard only — they are never shown on your store. The name shows as a first name and last initial, the same as reviews collected on SitesPlaced.
Do review photos import?
Yes. Photos stay hosted by Judge.me and are shown from there. If you later delete your Judge.me account, those photo links can stop working.
Can I push SitesPlaced reviews back into Judge.me?
Not yet. The integration is one way, from Judge.me into SitesPlaced.
What do you do with my API token?
It is stored encrypted and used only to read reviews. It never reaches your storefront or your dashboard's page code. See How we handle your keys.
