What's free, what the upgrade includes, and how to manage your subscription. SitesPlaced is freemium — every site publishes free, you only pay for premium extras.

SitesPlaced is freemium. You can build, preview and publish a website, a student portfolio, an online store or a gym site for ₹0 — no card, no trial timer. The free plan is not a demo: a free store gets unlimited products, 0% commission, Razorpay checkout (UPI, cards, net banking), cash on delivery, WhatsApp checkout and Shiprocket or Shipmozo shipping. You pay only for extras — your own domain, removing the SitesPlaced badge, AI copy, analytics, and the Meta and WhatsApp Business integrations.

What this category covers

The plans at a glance

  • Free — ₹0. Publish at a free yourname.sitesplaced.com address with a small SitesPlaced badge. Up to 5 sites and 500 MB of uploads per account.
  • Starter — ₹199/month, or ₹1,990/year. For any website or store: custom domain, branding removal, AI content generation, store analytics, custom head code and Meta Pixel + Conversions API.
  • Growth — ₹499/month, or ₹4,990/year (you pay for 10 months, not 12). Everything in Starter, plus the selling features for online stores and gyms: WhatsApp Business API order alerts, the sales boosters, product reviews with the Judge.me import, Shiprocket 1-click checkout and the gym bookings CRM. ₹499 is an early-bird price for the first 50 stores; after that the plan is ₹999/month.   • Student — ₹99 one-time. Removes the badge from a student portfolio, forever. No renewal, no subscription.

The order to do things

Don't start by choosing a plan. Start with the site, and let the plan follow the site.

  1. 1Build and publish free. Pick a template from the templates gallery, or bring an existing catalogue in with the store importer. Go live on yourname.sitesplaced.com — see Publish & share.
  2. 2Run it free for a while. Take real orders, test UPI and COD checkout, put the link in your Instagram bio and on WhatsApp. Nothing in the free plan stops you from selling.
  3. 3Upgrade when you need a paid extra — usually the day you want to print a domain on packaging, or you want the badge gone. Open your Dashboard, tap Manage Plan, and pick the plan with the features you need.
  4. 4Connect your domain after paying. Follow Connect a domain — the upgrade unlocks the field, it doesn't fill it in for you.

Who this is for

Instagram and WhatsApp sellers who want to know whether they really have to pay (no). Students who want a clean portfolio link for placements (₹99 once, only if you want the badge gone). Small businesses who want yourbrand.com on a card. And anyone who has already subscribed and wants to check a renewal date, change the billing cycle or cancel without losing their site.

Match the plan to what you need

The ₹99 Student unlock removes the badge on student portfolios only — it does nothing for an online store or a business website. Any website or store can use Starter for its own domain and badge removal; the selling features on stores and gyms need the Growth plan. The checkout shows a "Quick check — is this for a student portfolio?" confirmation before it charges you, so read it.

Prices in this section are in rupees. If you're outside India, the pricing page and the Plan & Billing page switch to your local currency automatically (for example Starter is $7.99/month and Growth $14.99/month in USD), and payment runs through Dodo Payments instead of Razorpay.

Do I need to pay to publish my site or store?

No. Every site type — website, student portfolio, online store, gym — publishes free on a sitesplaced.com address with a small SitesPlaced badge. Free stores take real orders with 0% commission.

Which plan do I need for an online store?

Starter (₹199/month) gives a store its own domain, removes the badge, and unlocks AI copy, analytics, custom head code and Meta Pixel + CAPI. The Growth plan (₹499/month early-bird for the first 50 stores, ₹999/month after) adds the selling features on top: WhatsApp Business API alerts, the sales boosters, product reviews and 1-click checkout. The ₹99 Student plan does not apply to stores.

Is annual billing cheaper?

Yes. Annual is priced at 10 months — ₹1,990/year for Starter and ₹4,990/year for Growth — so you get two months free compared with paying monthly.

What happens to my site if I stop paying?

It stays live. When your paid period ends the site returns to the free plan: the SitesPlaced badge comes back and custom-domain support ends, but your pages, products and orders are untouched.
