Manage your subscription

Upgrade, view your plan, update payment details, or cancel — all from your dashboard billing area.

Everything about your plan lives on the Plan & Billing page at sitesplaced.com/dashboard/billing — upgrading, seeing what you're on, your renewal date, and cancelling. Open it from your Dashboard with the Manage Plan button next to your plan name. You're always in control.

Upgrade or change your plan

  1. 1Sign in at sitesplaced.com and open your Dashboard.
  2. 2Tap Manage Plan to open Plan & Billing (or go straight to the pricing page).
  3. 3Under Available Plans, choose Monthly or Annual with the toggle. Annual is priced at 10 months.
  4. 4Pick the plan you need — Starter for your own domain and badge removal on any website or store, Growth for the selling features on a store or gym — and tap Upgrade. For a student portfolio, use the Remove portfolio badge — ₹99 button in the Student Plan section instead.
  5. 5Complete the secure checkout. In India this is a Razorpay window (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). You're taken back to your dashboard with the plan active as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Payments are handled securely

Checkout is processed by Razorpay or Dodo. SitesPlaced never sees or stores your card details — they're handled entirely by the payment provider.

Which provider you get depends on where you are. India pays in rupees through Razorpay. Everyone else sees local-currency prices and is redirected to Dodo Payments (cards and local payment methods). There's a region selector next to the Monthly/Annual toggle if the page has guessed your country wrong.

See your plan & renewal date

The card at the top of Plan & Billing shows your plan name (for example Growth Plan, or Starter + Growth Plan if you hold both), how many sites you're using, and a status badge — Active, or Cancelling at period end once you've cancelled. Below it you'll see Status, Days Left, Renews On (this becomes Access Until after you cancel), Started On, and your Monthly Cost or Annual Cost.

When 5 days or fewer remain, a Sites at risk if plan expires box lists the sites that will lose paid features if the plan isn't renewed.

Receipts and invoices

SitesPlaced emails you a "Payment confirmed — you're on [plan]" message after every successful charge. The payment provider also sends its own confirmation to the email you paid with. If you need a formal invoice for your accounts, contact support with the email on your account and the date of the payment.

Update your payment method

Because billing runs through Razorpay/Dodo, your card or UPI details are managed by the provider, not inside SitesPlaced. If you paid through Dodo, a Manage Subscription button appears on the plan card — it opens your Dodo customer portal. If a renewal payment fails on a Razorpay subscription, Razorpay retries it automatically; if every retry fails the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan, so simply subscribe again from Available Plans.

Switch between monthly and annual

You can't edit the billing cycle of a running subscription in place. To move from monthly to annual, subscribe to the annual plan from Available Plans with the Annual toggle selected — the annual plan starts immediately — and cancel the monthly one so it stops at the end of its period.

Cancel

You can cancel a recurring upgrade from the same Billing area. When you cancel, your premium extras stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your site simply reverts to the free plan — it stays published, just with the sitesplaced.com badge again.

  1. 1On Plan & Billing, tap Cancel Subscription on the plan card.
  2. 2Read the confirmation: "Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period. Sites will remain live until then, after which they revert to Free plan limits. No further charges will be made." It also tells you how many sites will lose paid features.
  3. 3Tap Cancel Subscription to confirm, or Keep Plan to back out.
  4. 4The status changes to Cancelling at period end and the card shows Subscription will end on [date]. You'll get a "Your [plan] plan has been cancelled" email.

A custom domain after cancelling

If you cancel and lose your custom-domain upgrade, your site falls back to its free yourname.sitesplaced.com address. Your content and store are untouched — only the address changes.

Delete your account

At the bottom of Plan & Billing is a Danger Zone with a Delete My Account button. This permanently removes your sign-in, all sites and stores, products, orders, leads, uploaded files and billing records. It is irreversible — you'll be asked to type DELETE and press Delete Everything. Cancel any active subscription first so it doesn't keep billing.

Troubleshooting

  • Paid but the plan still says Free? Refresh Plan & Billing. If it's still wrong after a few minutes, contact support with the payment ID from the Razorpay or Dodo confirmation — we can match the payment to your account.
  • Badge still showing on my store after upgrading? Check you bought Starter or Growth, not the ₹99 Student plan — the Student unlock only applies to student portfolios.
  • Can't find the billing page? It's at /dashboard/billing, or Dashboard → Manage Plan.
  • Cancelled by mistake? Your plan is still active until Access Until. Subscribe again from Available Plans before that date.

Want refund details before you cancel? See Refunds & cancellation. Stuck or can't find the billing area? Contact support and we'll help.

Where do I find my subscription?

On the Plan & Billing page at sitesplaced.com/dashboard/billing — open it with the Manage Plan button on your dashboard.

When am I charged?

At the start of each period — monthly or yearly — on the date shown under Renews On. The first charge happens at checkout.

Can I change my card inside SitesPlaced?

No. Card and UPI details live with the payment provider. Dodo subscribers get a Manage Subscription button that opens Dodo's portal; Razorpay subscribers re-enter details at checkout if a renewal fails.

Does cancelling take my site down?

No. The site stays live until the end of the paid period, then returns to the free plan with the badge. Nothing is deleted.
