The SitesPlaced mobile app — now on Google Play
Build and run your website or online store from your phone. The app is live on Google Play — here's what it does and how to get it.
Last updated 23 August 2026
The SitesPlaced mobile app is live and free — get it on Google Play for Android, sign in with the account you use on the web, and your sites and store are already there. Build a site, run your store, and hear the moment an order comes in, from your pocket. There is no iOS app yet; on iPhone, use the dashboard in your browser.
Android now, iOS coming
The app is on Android today, with iOS to follow. On iPhone (and anywhere else), the full SitesPlaced dashboard works great in your phone's browser at sitesplaced.com/dashboard.
What you can do
- Build a site from your phone — pick a template and edit every section with a native, touch-first editor.
- Import your business — turn your Instagram page or existing website into a ready-made store, right from the app.
- Run your store — add and edit products, update prices and stock, and move orders through confirmed → shipped → delivered.
- Get order notifications — a push notification the moment someone places an order.
- Publish anywhere — take your site live (or offline) from wherever you are.
How to get it
- 1Open the app on Google Play on your Android phone and tap Install — it's free.
- 2Sign in with the same account you use on the web; your sites and store are already there.
- 3Use your email and password or Continue with Google. Signing in on a new phone may ask for a 6-digit code sent to your email — enter it in the app. Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen.
- 4When the app asks to send you notifications, tap Allow — that is what makes order alerts work. You can turn it on later from the bell icon on the Home tab.
- 5Stuck? Email admin@sitesplaced.com or WhatsApp +91 95171 56355 and we'll help.
Finding your way around
The app has three tabs at the bottom: Home, Create and Account.
- Home — a greeting, the Describe your website card (type what you need, e.g. "A minimal portfolio for a product designer", and the AI builds it), your My Websites list, and a Launch your store nudge if you don't have one yet. The bell icon at the top right controls notifications.
- Create — What are you building? Choose Personal Website, Student Portfolio, Gym & Fitness Studio, Wedding / Event Invite, Ecommerce Store or Import from anywhere. Websites start from a design; stores are built by importing.
- Account — your name, current Plan, View plans & pricing, Manage plan on web, Open dashboard on web, plus Help Center, Contact us, Sign out and Delete account.
Importing a store
Tap Ecommerce Store or Import from anywhere on the Create tab. Pick a source — Instagram, Website, Linktree, YouTube, GitHub, Facebook or TikTok — paste your handle or link, choose Store or Website, and wait 15–60 seconds while the app reads your profile and writes your copy. You land in the builder with products and sections ready to edit. PDF catalogues are imported on the web at /import — see Import your existing store.
Running your store from the app
Open a store from My Websites to reach Manage store, which has the same panes as the web: Home · Orders · Products · Messages · Settings, plus an Edit storefront row that opens the design editor.
- Orders — tap an order to see items, address and payment method. Buttons like Mark Confirmed, Mark Shipped, Mark Out for delivery, Mark Completed or Mark Cancelled move it along; the status history is shown below. Message on WhatsApp opens a chat with the customer, Share address opens your phone's share sheet with the delivery address (handy for forwarding to a courier), and Open tracking appears when a tracking link exists. The full fulfilment flow is in Manage orders & shipments.
- Products — Add product with a name, price, original price, category, stock, SKU and a photo from your gallery. Tap a product to quick-edit its name, price and stock, or tap Mark out of stock. Products with variants manage stock per variant — use Edit variants & personalization on web for those. Also see Add products.
- Messages — enquiries from your contact form, with a status you can update and one-tap reply by email or WhatsApp. See Customer messages.
- Settings → Store settings — store name, WhatsApp number, announcement bar, currency, buy-button text, WhatsApp checkout, Cash on delivery and UPI payment toggles, minimum order amount, shipping charges and free-shipping threshold, and your UPI ID and bank details. Analytics, Advanced store settings (integrations, tracking) and Domains open the web dashboard already signed in.
Editing and publishing a site
The builder shows your site as a list of Sections with a Preview toggle. Tap a section to edit its text and images, use Add section to add one, the up and down arrows to reorder, and tap Save. Discard throws away unsaved edits. At the top, Publish takes the site live at yourname.sitesplaced.site; once live the same button becomes Unpublish. Store previews render once the store is published — your saved edits are safe until then. If publishing needs a paid feature you will see This needs a plan upgrade with a Manage plan on web button; the app never takes payments itself. More on sharing your link in Publishing & sharing.
Order notifications
With notifications allowed, every new order sends a New order push to your phone with the order number, customer name and amount. Tap it to open that order straight away. The email alert from Order email notifications still goes out, so you have a record even if you miss the buzz.
- 1On the Home tab, look at the bell icon. A small dot on it means notifications are not allowed yet.
- 2Tap the bell and choose Allow in the system prompt.
- 3If you previously denied it, the bell opens your phone's Settings page for the app — turn on Notifications there and come back.
How it fits with the website
The app and the web dashboard are the same account, same sites, same plan — edit on your phone on the way to the post office, polish on your laptop at night. Plan upgrades open in your browser, so billing stays in one familiar place.
Good to know
- My Websites is empty — you are signed in with a different email than the one that owns your sites. Sign out from the Account tab and sign in again with the right one.
- No push notifications — check the bell on Home, then your phone's battery or data-saver settings, which can block background notifications. Pushes only arrive on real phones with Google Play services, not emulators.
- Photo upload or import fails — update the app from Google Play; older versions had an upload bug that is fixed in the current release.
- Anything not in the app — custom domains, integrations, analytics, variants and personalization all open the web dashboard signed in from the app, or go to sitesplaced.com/dashboard on any device.
- Deleting your account is available under Account → Delete account and removes your sites permanently. Talk to us first if you only want to remove one site.

Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet — the app is Android-only today and iOS is coming. On iPhone, open sitesplaced.com/dashboard in Safari; everything works there with the same account.
Can I pay for a plan inside the app?
No. The app shows your current plan and a View plans & pricing screen, but the upgrade itself happens on the web at sitesplaced.com/pricing. Tap Manage plan on web and it opens your browser already signed in.
Will I get a notification for every order?
Yes, as long as notifications are allowed for the app and you are signed in on that phone. Each new order sends one push with the order number, customer name and amount; tap it to open the order. Email alerts continue regardless.
Can I import a PDF catalogue in the app?
Not in the app yet. Instagram, website, Linktree, YouTube, GitHub, Facebook and TikTok imports work in the app; for a PDF catalogue use the importer on the web at sitesplaced.com/import.
Does editing in the app change my live site immediately?
Only after you tap Save, and visitors only see it if the site is published. Unpublished edits are kept as a draft you can preview and publish later.
