A custom domain is part of the ₹199/month Starter plan and every plan above it. Under Settings → Store details → Custom domain you enter the domain you bought from any registrar. If your DNS provider supports Domain Connect (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, IONOS and others), a popup applies the records for you in one click; otherwise you add a CNAME to cname.vercel-dns.com (or an A record to 76.76.21.21 on a root domain) and an optional TXT record for ownership. SitesPlaced verifies the records, issues HTTPS automatically and serves your store on the domain. Branding removal is included on the same plan.

What Custom domain does on a SitesPlaced store
One-click for supported registrars
If your DNS provider supports Domain Connect, the dashboard opens their approval popup, the records are written for you, and SitesPlaced polls until the domain verifies — usually within a couple of minutes.
Two records for everyone else
A CNAME (or ALIAS) to cname.vercel-dns.com, or an A record to 76.76.21.21 on a root domain, plus an optional _sitesplaced-verify TXT record. The dashboard shows exactly what to paste.
Wrong-record detection
SitesPlaced reads your live DNS and tells you if an old A record (often the registrar's parking page) is still pointing elsewhere, so you fix the right thing instead of guessing.
HTTPS and the badge
The certificate is issued automatically once the domain resolves. Branding removal is part of the same plan, so the store is fully yours.

How to set up Custom domain
Where: Dashboard → your store → Settings → Store details → Custom domain. Takes: 2 minutes with Domain Connect; up to a few hours for DNS to propagate otherwise.
Buy a domain
Register yourbrand.com (or .in) with any registrar. You only need access to its DNS settings.
Enter it in SitesPlaced
Settings → Store details → Custom domain → type the domain and save. SitesPlaced detects your DNS provider.
Apply the records
If a one-click button appears, approve the Domain Connect popup and wait for verification. Otherwise add the CNAME (or A) record and the optional TXT record shown in the table, exactly as printed.
Verify
Click Verify (it also re-checks automatically). When the record is seen, HTTPS is issued and your store answers on the domain. Keep the sitesplaced.com link as a fallback if you like.
Good to know
- ✓If you see “Wrong A record detected”, edit the existing A record's value rather than deleting it, or the domain stops resolving entirely.
- ✓Use the www or root form you prefer; the dashboard shows the right record type for each.
- ✓Your custom domain is the production origin — the Meta Pixel, custom head code and shopper accounts all run there.
