Homestay & Stays template

Try a booking, start to finish

The demo is a sample family homestay, Deodar & Stone in Himachal’s Tirthan Valley, built on the template. Pick dates and guests and you’ll see every room’s total, GST included, before the book button.

  • ✓ A calendar with each night’s price
  • ✓ Room pages, meals and getting here

What you get for a homestay, guesthouse or small hotel

Most small stays run on calls, WhatsApp, a notebook and a listing or two on booking apps. SitesPlaced Hospitality adds the missing piece: your own website that takes bookings, and one calendar for every booking, wherever it came from.

A ready website

The Homestay & Stays template: a big photo first, a page per room with photos, beds and who it sleeps, meals, places nearby, getting here with a Google Maps button, a gallery and house rules.

A booking engine on your site

A calendar with each night’s price, full nights greyed out, and every room’s total for the stay, GST included, before the book button.

You decide how bookings work

Confirm each request yourself (rooms are held for the hours you choose) or confirm instantly. Guests pay at the property, a deposit first, or in full first.

Prices that follow your seasons

Weekday and weekend prices, season and festival prices, minimum nights, closed dates, and extra adult and child charges.

No double bookings

Each room-night sells once, including the phone, WhatsApp, walk-in, Airbnb and Booking.com bookings you add by hand.

GST worked out for you

If you’re registered: 5% on rooms up to ₹7,500 a night, 18% above (rates since 22 September 2025). Not registered? No GST is shown.

How does a guest book on your site?

  1. Picks dates

The calendar shows each night’s price; full or closed nights are greyed out.

  2. Chooses guests

Adults and children, so extra-guest charges are added.

  3. Sees every room with the total

The full price for the stay, GST included, before the button.

  4. Leaves a name and phone number

The number is the guest’s WhatsApp too, so you can chat straight away.

  5. Is booked, or sees “request sent”

Instant bookings confirm on the spot; requests wait for you to confirm.

Every new booking reaches you by email and as a push notification on the SitesPlaced phone app, and the guest gets WhatsApp chat buttons to reach you.

The dashboard you run it from

  • ✓Today: requests to confirm, arrivals, departures, who’s staying, tonight’s occupancy and money in.
  • ✓Calendar: rooms by dates. Tap to add a booking or close a room.
  • ✓Bookings: confirm, check in (ID type and last four digits only), record payments and refunds, see the bill with each night’s GST, check out.
  • ✓Rooms & prices and venue settings, plus a Form C (now Form-III) reminder at check-in for foreign guests.

Two things it doesn’t do yet

There’s no automatic sync with Airbnb, Booking.com or MakeMyTrip, so you add their bookings by hand. And there’s no online card or UPI payment on the booking page: you collect any deposit by UPI or bank transfer after confirming. For a stay with a handful of rooms, both take a few minutes a day.

What you get for a café or restaurant

Cafés and restaurants use the SitesPlaced store, which already does everything below. Dedicated café and restaurant templates are on the way; today most pick the Food Store or General Store template.

  • ✓Your menu as items with prices and photos, or created for you by AI from a photo of your printed menu.
  • ✓Pickup and delivery orders paid by UPI or card on your own Razorpay, PhonePe or Cashfree account, cash on delivery, or WhatsApp. 0% commission.
  • ✓Coupons, delivery charges, and a switch to pause orders.
  • ✓A loyalty programme on Growth: QR stamp cards, scratch cards, locations and a printable table tent.
  • ✓A table bookings tab to record calls and walk-ins, with seats per time slot.

Guests can’t book a table on the website themselves yet. More for food businesses: café website builder, online ordering for restaurants and the loyalty QR stand.

What does it cost? Three plans

One ladder for stays and cafés alike, with 0% commission and unlimited bookings on every plan. Details are on the pricing page.

SitesPlaced vs paid booking software vs booking apps

Booking apps (OTAs, or online travel agencies, such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip and Airbnb) list your rooms beside thousands of others; paid booking software runs bookings on your own site for a monthly fee.

NRAI figures from its complaint to the Competition Commission of India, as reported by Moneylife when the CCI ordered a probe. They are the association’s allegations, not audited rates.

Booking and delivery apps are good at finding you strangers; paid booking software is good at running bigger properties across many channels. For a homestay, small hotel or café that wants its regulars and its Google and Instagram visitors to book or order direct, SitesPlaced Hospitality does the job for ₹0 and takes nothing per booking. Keep the apps for discovery, and send everyone you can to your own site.

Ready for Google from day one

Your site publishes structured data (labels Google reads) for your business and each room with its price, plus a sitemap with every room page. Paste your booking link into your Google Business Profile; it’s free. Since 30 July 2025 hotels can’t type room rates into the profile themselves, and Google Hotels’ free booking links come through Google’s integration partners. SitesPlaced isn’t one; it makes sure Google can read your rooms and prices on your own site.

Put your stay online today

Pick the Homestay & Stays template, add your rooms and prices, and publish on a free address. Bookings land in your dashboard and on your phone. Free, 0% commission, and ₹199 a month only when you want your own domain.

Frequently asked questions

What is SitesPlaced Hospitality?

A free website and booking system for homestays, guesthouses, cottages, small hotels, cafés and restaurants in India, launched on 28 October 2026. Stays get a website with a booking engine and an owner dashboard; cafés and restaurants get a menu website with online orders. 0% commission on every plan.

Is SitesPlaced Hospitality really free?

Yes. The Free plan (₹0) includes the website on a free sitesplaced.com address, the booking engine, unlimited bookings and orders, the dashboard and 0% commission. You pay ₹199 a month (Starter) only for your own domain and to remove the badge.

Do guests pay online when they book a room?

Not yet. You choose whether guests pay at the property, a deposit first or in full first. Any advance is collected by you, by UPI or bank transfer, after you confirm the booking, and recorded in the dashboard.

Does it sync with Airbnb, Booking.com or MakeMyTrip?

Not automatically, yet. You add bookings from those apps by hand in the Calendar, as you would phone and walk-in bookings. Each room-night can only be sold once, so your site won’t sell a night you’ve already filled.

Can my café or restaurant take online orders?

Yes: pickup or delivery orders paid by UPI or card on your own Razorpay, PhonePe or Cashfree account, cash on delivery, or WhatsApp, at 0% commission. Guests can’t book a table on the website yet; you record table bookings from calls and walk-ins.

Will my homestay show up on Google?

Your site publishes structured data that lets Google read your rooms and prices, plus a sitemap with every room page, and you can add your booking link to your Google Business Profile for free. Google’s free booking links in Google Hotels come through its integration partners; SitesPlaced is not one.

Which is better — a paid booking engine like eZee or SitesPlaced?

For a bigger hotel selling on several booking apps a day, a paid system such as eZee Absolute does more, with automatic sync on higher plans (Techjockey lists about ₹2,250 a month for its booking engine and about ₹5,250 with a channel manager, 1–5 rooms plus GST, as listed in October 2026). For a homestay, guesthouse or small hotel that wants its own site taking direct bookings, SitesPlaced is the better fit: no monthly fee, no commission, one calendar and GST worked out for you.
