SitesPlaced for WooCommerceLive

Keep your WooCommerce shop exactly as it is. This plugin copies every order into SitesPlaced, so you get the SitesPlaced order dashboard, the mobile app, courier booking, WhatsApp order messages, a tracking page for your customers and the AI Co-founder. WooCommerce stays in charge of payment, stock and cancellation. SitesPlaced sends back only the shipping status and the tracking details.

Download the plugin (zip)

sitesplaced-for-woocommerce.zip, version 1.0.0. Needs WordPress 6.0, WooCommerce 7.0 and PHP 7.4, or newer. It is a file you upload yourself; it is not listed in the WordPress plugin directory. One connected shop is free.

Install the zip

  1. Download sitesplaced-for-woocommerce.zip with the button above. Do not unzip it.
  2. In your WordPress admin, open Plugins and choose to add a new plugin.
  3. Choose the option to upload a plugin, pick the zip file, and install it.
  4. Activate it. A new screen appears under WooCommerce → SitesPlaced.

Connect in one click

  1. Go to WooCommerce → SitesPlaced and press Connect to SitesPlaced.
  2. Your browser goes to SitesPlaced. Sign in, or create a free account.
  3. SitesPlaced shows the address of the website that is asking to connect. Check that it is your shop.
  4. Choose where the orders should go: create a new connected store, or pick one of your stores.
  5. Approve. Your browser goes back to your WordPress admin and the plugin shows that it is connected.

You never copy a key by hand. SitesPlaced hands your site a one-time code that works once, for 10 minutes, and only for your shop's own address. The plugin swaps that code for its own key, server to server. The technical detail is in the API reference.

Past orders

Right after you connect, the plugin imports your last 30 days of orders by itself. To go further back, choose Last 90 days or Last 365 days and press Import past orders. You can press Cancel import while it runs and Resume import if it stopped part way.

Past orders are sent in batches of up to 50 and marked as history, so they send no mobile push, no WhatsApp message and no webhook. They keep their original dates.

What is copied, and what is not

Copied into SitesPlacedNever copied or changed
Every order, when it is placed and each time it changes: number, status, items, totals, customer and delivery details, the customer's note, and how it was paid.Your checkout and your payment gateway. Shoppers pay on WooCommerce as they do today.
Cancellations and refunds made on WooCommerce. A part refund is recorded with its amount and the order stays open.Your stock. WooCommerce stays in charge of it, and a copied order changes no stock in SitesPlaced.
Your product list, if “Send products to SitesPlaced” is on. It is kept apart from SitesPlaced products and can never be sold on a SitesPlaced storefront.Draft orders. An order that is still a checkout draft is not sent. An order you trash later is archived in SitesPlaced, not deleted.
The real payment method, as WooCommerce named it.Emails. SitesPlaced sends no email to your shoppers for copied orders.

The same order sent twice never makes a duplicate, and an update that arrives late cannot undo a newer one. If two connected shops use the same order numbers, the second shop's numbers get a short prefix in SitesPlaced.

What gets sent back

Only shipping news. When an order is shipped, out for delivery or delivered in SitesPlaced, the plugin updates the WooCommerce order with that status and with the tracking number, the courier and the tracking link. Nothing else is written back.

  • Your shopper sees a Track your ordersection in the WooCommerce order emails, on the order page under My Account, and on the thank-you page after checkout. The link goes to the courier's own tracking page when there is one, and to the SitesPlaced tracking page when there is not.
  • You see a box titled SitesPlaced on the order screen in your WordPress admin, with the sync state, the tracking, an Open in SitesPlaced link and a Send to SitesPlaced now button.
  • Three settings control this: Send products to SitesPlaced, Mark the order Completed when it ships and Show tracking in customer emails.
  • The shortcode [sitesplaced_tracking] puts an order-number field and a button on any page of your site. It sends the visitor to your SitesPlaced tracking page and loads no scripts from outside your site.

Updates are signed, so your site can check they came from SitesPlaced, and an update that is delivered twice changes nothing the second time.

The tracking page

A connected store gets a public tracking page. The shopper types the order number and a second detail: the last 4 digits of the phone number on the order, or the email. The page never shows a name, a phone number, an email or an address. WooCommerce order numbers go up one at a time, so without the second detail anyone could type the next number and look at a stranger's order. The full reasoning is in the API reference.

On the free plan the page carries the SitesPlaced badge. A paid store plan removes it; see pricing.

The staging-copy pause

A staging copy is a private duplicate of your site for testing changes. A duplicate carries the plugin and its key with it. Left alone, its test orders would land in your real order list.

So the plugin reports its own address to SitesPlaced. If that address is not the one that was connected, SitesPlaced refuses and the plugin pauses itself. It shows this notice on every page of the WordPress admin:

Your live site is not affected. On a staging copy, leave it paused. If you have moved your shop to a new address for good, press Reconnect.

Disconnecting

  • Press Disconnect on the plugin's screen, or disconnect from Settings → Developerin SitesPlaced. The plugin's key stops working at once and no more orders are sent.
  • The orders already copied stay in SitesPlaced.
  • Deactivating the plugin stops its scheduled jobs and keeps its settings.
  • Deleting the plugin revokes its key at SitesPlaced and removes the plugin's settings, temporary data and scheduled jobs. It does not remove the tracking numbers already saved on your WooCommerce orders, and it deletes nothing inside SitesPlaced.
  • Connecting the same shop again reuses the same connected store, so you do not get duplicates.

If a key is revoked or the connected store is removed in SitesPlaced while the plugin is live, the plugin pauses and shows: SitesPlaced is paused: the connection key was revoked, or the connected store was removed in SitesPlaced. No orders are being sent. Reconnect to start again.

What it costs

One connected shop is free, with order sync and the tracking page carrying the SitesPlaced badge. A paid store plan (Growth or AI Co-founder) allows five connected shops, removes the badge and includes WhatsApp order messages. A connected shop does not count against your plan's site limit. Prices are on the pricing page.

Questions

Does it change my checkout?
No. Shoppers check out on WooCommerce exactly as they do today, with the payment gateway you already use. The plugin only copies the order once it exists.
Does it touch my stock?
No. WooCommerce stays in charge of stock. Copied orders never change stock in SitesPlaced, and SitesPlaced never writes stock back to WooCommerce.
What about old orders?
The last 30 days are imported by themselves right after you connect. You can then import the last 90 or 365 days from the plugin's screen. Past orders are copied in batches, keep their original dates, and send no notifications.
What if my site blocks incoming requests?
Tracking still reaches WooCommerce. SitesPlaced tries to send each update to your site straight away, and the plugin also checks SitesPlaced for waiting updates every 15 minutes. A blocked request only means a short delay.
Can I cancel or refund from SitesPlaced?
No. Cancel or refund on WooCommerce, where the payment was taken. The change then shows up in SitesPlaced on its own.
Is the plugin in the WordPress plugin directory?
No. Today it is a zip file you download from this page and upload to your site.
