SitesPlaced is a free café website builder made in India. Upload a photo of your printed menu and the items are created for you. Customers read it on their phone, order for delivery or on WhatsApp, and pay by UPI, card or cash — with 0% commission. Your own domain is from ₹199 a month; a QR loyalty stamp card is on Growth.
What should a café website have?
Most people meet your café on a phone. They tap your Instagram bio or your Google listing, standing outside or sitting at home. In the next ten seconds they want three answers: what do you serve, are you open, and how do I get it. A good café website answers those first and leaves the rest for later.
- ✓A menu that reads well on a phone — items, prices and a photo of the best sellers, not a PDF you have to pinch and zoom.
- ✓Opening hours, the address and a map link near the top, so nobody walks to a closed shutter.
- ✓A way to order: online with UPI or cash, or a WhatsApp button for people who prefer to message.
- ✓Real photos of your counter, your coffee and your space. People pick a café for how it feels.
- ✓A reason to come back, like a stamp card that fills up on their phone.
- ✓A link from your Google listing, so the people searching “cafe near me” land on your menu.
Online orders with 0% commission
Your café website is also a shop. Customers add items to a cart and check out, and the order lands in your dashboard with an email to you. There’s no commission on any plan — not on the free plan, not ever.
- ✓UPI and cards paid into your own Razorpay, PhonePe or Cashfree account. The gateway charges its own fee; SitesPlaced takes nothing.
- ✓Cash on delivery, with an optional small COD charge if you want one.
- ✓WhatsApp orders: the customer sends their cart to your WhatsApp as a ready-made message.
- ✓A delivery charge, free delivery above an amount you choose, and a minimum order value.
- ✓Coupon codes such as COFFEE10, on the free plan.
- ✓A pause switch for when the kitchen is full or you’re closed: the menu stays up and checkout stops until you switch it back.

Hours, address and your Google listing
Put your opening hours and address on your home page and your Contact page, in plain words: “Open 8am to 10pm, closed Tuesdays.” Add your phone number as a tap-to-call button and a link to your Google Maps location. These are the details people check most, so keep them up to date when you change your timings.
Then open your Google Business Profile and add your SitesPlaced link as your website. Food businesses can usually add a menu link and an order link too. Adding links there is free for any business. SitesPlaced isn’t connected to Google — you paste the link yourself — but your site is built so Google can read it: fast pages, a sitemap, and a page for every item and section.
Loyalty stamp cards (Growth plan)
Regulars keep a café alive. On the Growth plan (₹499/month) you print a QR stand card or a table tent from the dashboard. A customer scans it, types their phone number and gets a stamp — no app, no OTP. When the card fills, they get the reward you chose. You can add scratch cards and more than one branch, and online orders from the same phone number add stamps to the same card.
This page is about the website. The stamp card has its own page, with how it works, how it stops repeat scanning and how it compares with standalone loyalty apps: website and loyalty QR stand for cafés and local shops.
Table bookings you take by phone
Guests can’t book a table on the website by themselves yet. If you take bookings by phone, WhatsApp or at the door, turn your store into a café in the Venue tab and you get a Table bookings tab. It shows the next 14 days, the seats taken in each time slot, and lets you mark a table confirmed, seated, done or a no-show. Your website’s call and WhatsApp buttons bring those bookings in.
Build your café website in 5 steps

Add hours, address and contact

Commission: NRAI told the Competition Commission of India that aggregators charge roughly 20–30% per order (as reported by Moneylife); Bengaluru hotel associations cited 8–28% plus ads and payment fees (The Week, July 2026). Terms vary by city and contract; check your own agreement.
A delivery app is good at one thing your website can’t do on day one: put you in front of thousands of hungry people who have never heard of you. Keep it for that if it pays. But every regular who orders through the app costs you a commission, and the app keeps most of the relationship. Your own website is where those regulars should order. For that, SitesPlaced is the simplest start: free to publish, 0% commission, and the customer’s number is yours.
Turn your menu photo into a café website
Upload a photo of your menu, pick a template and publish free — with online orders, UPI, cash on delivery and WhatsApp orders built in. Add your own domain from ₹199 a month and the loyalty stamp card on Growth when you’re ready.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best website builder for a café in India?
SitesPlaced is built for Indian cafés that want their own website without a monthly bill. You upload a photo of your printed menu and the items are created for you. Customers read the menu on their phone, order for delivery or message you on WhatsApp, and pay by UPI, card or cash, with 0% commission on every plan. Publishing is free; your own domain is from ₹199 a month.
How much does a café website cost?
On SitesPlaced it can cost nothing. The free plan publishes your café website on a free sitesplaced address with a small “Made with SitesPlaced” badge, with unlimited menu items and orders and 0% commission. Starter (₹199/month) adds your own domain like yourcafe.in and removes the badge. Growth (₹499/month) adds the loyalty stamp card, reviews and the sales boosters.
Can I make a café website from a photo of my menu?
Yes. Upload a clear photo or PDF of your menu and SitesPlaced reads each item and price into your website, sorted into sections. Check the names and prices, fix anything it misread, and add dish photos later when you have them.
Can customers order online from my café website? Do you take a commission?
Yes. Customers add items to a cart and check out. They pay by UPI or card into your own Razorpay, PhonePe or Cashfree account, choose cash on delivery, or send the order to your WhatsApp. SitesPlaced takes 0% commission on every plan. Your payment gateway charges its own fee on online payments.
Can customers book a table on my café website?
Not yet. Guests can’t book a table on the website themselves today. What you can do: add a call button and a WhatsApp button so people can ask, and record every booking that comes in by phone, WhatsApp or at the door in the Table bookings tab, which shows the seats taken in each time slot.
Does SitesPlaced have café templates?
Dedicated café and restaurant templates are being built. Today cafés start on the General Store template (clean, quick to fill in) or the Food Store template (bold, colourful category cards). Both show your menu with prices and photos and take orders through the same checkout.
Which is better — a Zomato or Swiggy listing, or a SitesPlaced café website?
They do different jobs. A delivery app brings new customers and its own riders, and that reach is real — but restaurants say the commission is roughly 20–30% per order (NRAI’s complaint to the Competition Commission of India, as reported by Moneylife). Your own website brings no new crowd by itself, and you arrange delivery. Most cafés keep the app for discovery and move regulars to their own site. For that second job, SitesPlaced is the better choice: 0% commission, the customer’s number is yours, and it’s free to publish.
How do I connect my café website to Google Maps?
Open your Google Business Profile and add your SitesPlaced link as your website. Food businesses can usually add a menu link and an order link too. Adding links is free for any business. SitesPlaced isn’t connected to Google, so you paste the link yourself; it takes two minutes.
