Shiprocket, from inside the order.
Open an order, enter the package details and click Create shipment to push it to Shiprocket. Book a courier, generate the label and schedule the pickup from the same drawer, and the AWB and live status come back to your store's Track Order page.

The Shiprocket integration is on the SitesPlaced free plan. Connect with a Shiprocket API user (Settings → Integrations → Shiprocket Logistics). Then, from a confirmed order in the Orders tab, enter the package details and click Create shipment to push it to Shiprocket; book a courier from the live rates, generate the shipping label and schedule pickup. The AWB is stored on the order and Shiprocket's webhook updates the shipment status, which customers can see on your store's Track Order page. Shiprocket's own shipping rates apply; SitesPlaced adds nothing.

What Shiprocket does on a SitesPlaced store
One click to push an order
Click Create shipment on an order and it is created in Shiprocket with the customer's address, items and payment method (Prepaid or COD, with the amount to collect on COD orders). Nothing is pushed until you click.
Four steps in the order drawer
Package details (Create shipment) → Book a courier → Shipping label (Generate label) → Schedule pickup. Courier rates are fetched from Shiprocket for that order's weight and pincode.
AWB and tracking on the order
The AWB number, courier and label link are saved on the order. Shiprocket's webhook sends status updates back as the shipment moves.
Customer-facing Track Order page
Every store has a Track Order page in its header; customers look up their order and see the live Shiprocket status without messaging you.
Which plan, and what it costs
- ✓SitesPlaced: Free plan — ₹0 to publish, 0% SitesPlaced commission.
- ✓Third-party fees: Shiprocket's own shipping rates and plans apply. SitesPlaced does not add a per-shipment fee.
On Shopify an Indian courier connection such as Shiprocket is a third-party app; on SitesPlaced it is built in on the free plan.
Full plan details are on the pricing page. Plan tags on every SitesPlaced page mirror the real entitlement gate in the product, as of August 23, 2026.
How to set up Shiprocket
Where: Dashboard → your store → Settings → Integrations → Shiprocket Logistics. Takes: about 10 minutes (including creating the API user).
Create a Shiprocket account
If you do not have one, sign up on Shiprocket and complete their onboarding. The SitesPlaced wizard (Step 1: Sign Up) links you there; skip to step 3 if you already have an account.
Create an API user in Shiprocket
In Shiprocket go to Settings → API → Create API User and set a strong password. Using a dedicated API user instead of your main login is what the wizard recommends (Step 2: API User).
Connect in SitesPlaced
Settings → Integrations → Shiprocket Logistics → enter the API user's email and password (Step 3: Connect). SitesPlaced verifies the login and stores the credentials encrypted. The card shows Active.
Add the tracking webhook (recommended)
In the Shiprocket Dashboard go to Settings → Webhooks and add the SitesPlaced webhook URL shown on the card, so shipment status updates flow back to your orders and the Track Order page.
Ship an order
Open a confirmed order in the Orders tab: fill Package details (L × B × H, weight) and click Create shipment to push it to Shiprocket, then Book courier from the fetched rates, Generate label, and Schedule pickup. Print the label and hand over the package.
Good to know
- ✓You can pause or disconnect Shiprocket from the same card; shipments already booked keep their AWB.
- ✓Shiprocket is one of two shipping integrations — Shipmozo is the other. Both are free, one aggregator is active per store; pick whichever gives you better rates for your lanes.
- ✓The Track Order page works without Shiprocket too: customers still see the order status you set in the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Shiprocket integration free?
Yes, it is on the free plan. You pay Shiprocket for shipping at Shiprocket's rates; SitesPlaced adds no per-shipment fee.
Do I paste an API key?
No. You enter the email and password of a Shiprocket API user (created under Shiprocket → Settings → API). SitesPlaced logs in for you, stores the credentials encrypted and refreshes the token automatically.
Are orders pushed automatically?
No — you push each order from the order drawer (one click on Create shipment), so nothing ships by accident. You then book the courier, generate the label and schedule pickup from the same drawer.
How do customers track their shipment?
Every SitesPlaced store has a Track Order page. When Shiprocket's webhook is added, the status on that page updates as the shipment moves.
Shiprocket or Shipmozo?
Both are free on SitesPlaced and both book couriers, print labels and sync tracking. One aggregator is active per store, so choose by the rates each offers on your typical lanes.
Ship with Shiprocket from a free store
Publish free, connect your Shiprocket API user, and push, label and schedule each order from the order itself.
