Paid stores now answer about 4× faster and your edits still show at once
From today, every SitesPlaced store on a paid plan keeps its pages ready close to its shoppers. When someone taps your link, the page answers in about 75 ms instead of about 330 ms. That is about 4× faster than on the free plan, and nothing you change is held back.
Every paid store (Starter, Growth and AI Co-founder) now answers about 4× faster, automatically. A ready copy of each store page is kept close to your shoppers for up to an hour, and thrown away the moment anything on it changes. We measured it on four live paid stores, ten pages each: about 75 ms to answer instead of about 330 ms. Nothing to switch on. Try it free for 7 days with code FREE7.
TL;DR
- • What: store pages on paid plans are kept ready close to shoppers, so they answer without waiting to be built.
- • How much: about 75 ms instead of about 330 ms (middle of our 28 September 2026 measurements), 2.3× to 5.5× by store.
- • Edits: every change you save clears the ready copy; a check every minute catches anything else. Scheduled coupons and sales still switch on and off on time.
- • Never kept: cart, account and order-tracking pages, which are built for one shopper.
- • Who: every store on Starter (₹199/month) and up. Nothing to switch on.
- • What it isn’t: a speed-up for your photos. They still take as long as their size.
What changed
Every time a shopper opens a store page, something has to put that page together from your products, prices, stock, sections and settings. Until today, every SitesPlaced store did that when the shopper asked. A ready copy of a page was kept only very briefly, and most pages on a small store are not visited often enough to catch it, so in practice nearly every visit waited for a fresh build.
Now, on paid plans, a ready copy of each store page is kept for up to an hour on a network of servers spread out close to where shoppers are, instead of only on the server that builds the page. When a shopper taps your link, a nearby copy answers straight away. The free plan keeps working exactly as before: free to build, free to publish, 0% commission.
What “answer” means, and why we keep saying it
When a phone asks for a page, two things happen. First the server answers: it starts sending the page back. Until then the shopper sees a blank screen. Then the phone downloads everything the page names, such as photos, fonts and any video. That second part is the load.
This change speeds up the first part. It does not make a heavy photo arrive any faster. We say “answer” every time on purpose, because the answer is what we measured and what got faster. What a shopper feels is the answer plus the load, so light photos still matter. Our guide to why an online store is slow covers the part you control, and does website speed affect sales explains why the first page matters most.
How we measured it
On 28 September 2026 we timed ten pages on each of four live paid stores, comparing how long a page took to answer from its ready copy with how long the same kind of page took when it was built fresh. Then we took the middle value (the median), which one unusually slow or fast reading can’t drag around.
| What we measured | Result |
|---|---|
| Date | 28 September 2026 |
| Stores | Four live paid stores |
| Pages | Ten on each store |
| Answer from a ready copy (median) | About 75 ms |
| Answer when built fresh (median) | About 330 ms |
| Gap, store by store | 2.3× to 5.5× |
| What we claim | Store pages answer about 4× faster |
A millisecond (ms) is a thousandth of a second, so this is under a tenth of a second against about a third. Why “about 4×” and not the biggest number we saw? Because the middle is what most shoppers get, and the claim has to hold for your store, not our best one. If we measure again and the number moves, we will change the claim after the measurement, not before.
Your edits still show at once
A ready copy is only useful if it is never out of date. So a kept page is thrown away the moment anything on it changes, and the next shopper gets a freshly built one. Three things make sure of that:
- Every change you save clears it. Products, prices, stock, photos, sections, store settings, reviews, blog posts: saving any of them clears that store’s ready copies straight away. So does every order, because orders change stock.
- A check every minute. Not every change comes through the dashboard. Every minute, SitesPlaced also looks for stores whose products, orders or settings changed by any other route, and clears those too.
- Scheduled changes happen on time. If a coupon starts at midnight, a sale ends on Sunday or an announcement is scheduled, a page is never kept past that moment.
We tested this on production before any customer’s store depended on it. A change saved through the app was on the live page about a second later. A change made directly in the database, with nothing cleared on purpose, showed up within a minute.
Pages that are never kept
Some pages are built for one shopper: the cart, the shopper’s account, order tracking, and the review and rewards pages. A kept copy of one of those could be handed to the next person, so they are never kept anywhere, for any length of time, on any plan. They are built fresh on every visit, as before. The pages that are kept are the ones every shopper sees alike: your home page, categories, product pages, policies and blog.
Who gets it
| Plan | Price | Pages answer about 4× faster |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | No. Pages are built fresh, as before |
| Starter | ₹199/month or ₹1,990/year | Yes, automatically |
| Growth | ₹499/month or ₹4,990/year | Yes, automatically |
| AI Co-founder | ₹1,499/month | Yes, automatically |
It is on for every paid store. There is no switch and no setting, and it starts within a minute or two of a paid plan becoming active. If a paid plan ends, the store simply goes back to building pages fresh, the way the free plan works. Nothing breaks and nothing is lost.
Starter also gives you your own domain (yourbrand.com), removes the SitesPlaced badge, and adds store analytics, Meta Pixel with the Conversions API, AI site copy and a dedicated setup person. Growth adds the sales boosters, product reviews, the loyalty programme and 1-click checkouts. The full list is on the pricing page.
What it doesn’t do
- • It doesn’t shrink your photos. The answer comes sooner; photos still take as long as their size.
- • It doesn’t change the shopper’s connection. A weak signal is still a weak signal.
- • The first visit after a change is built fresh. The first shopper to open a page after you edit it, or after its hour is up, waits for a new build; the shoppers after them get the ready copy. That is the price of never showing an old page.
- • Cart, account and order-tracking pages are not kept, by design.

Frequently asked questions
Which SitesPlaced plans have the faster store pages?
Every paid plan: Starter (₹199/month), Growth (₹499/month) and AI Co-founder (₹1,499/month). On all of them, store pages answer about 4× faster than on the free plan.
Do I need to turn it on?
No. It runs for every paid store automatically. There is no switch and no setting, and it starts within a minute or two of a paid plan becoming active.
Will my customers see old prices or stock after I change them?
No. Every change you save, and every order, clears your store's ready copies, so the next shopper gets a freshly built page. A check every minute catches changes made any other way, and a page is never kept past a scheduled coupon, sale or announcement starting or ending.
Does this make my photos download faster?
No, and we don't claim it does. The page answers about 4× faster: the blank-screen wait before the page starts arriving gets shorter. Photos still take as long as their size, so keep them light.
Which pages are not kept ready?
Pages built for one shopper: the cart, the shopper's account, order tracking, and the review and rewards pages. They are built fresh on every visit, on every plan, so one shopper's page can never be shown to another.
How did you measure about 4×?
On 28 September 2026 we timed ten pages on each of four live paid stores. A page answered from its ready copy took about 75 ms and a page built fresh took about 330 ms (medians). Store by store the gap ranged from 2.3× to 5.5×, so we claim about 4×, not the top of the range.
What happens if my paid plan ends?
Your store goes back to building pages fresh, the way the free plan works. Nothing breaks and nothing is lost; your store stays live on the free plan.
