Launch a new product with an AI co-founder: photos, copy, carousel and ads in one sitting.
A new product usually launches badly for a boring reason: the photo, the description, the Instagram post, the ad and the WhatsApp message are five separate jobs, so they happen on five separate days, and by the time the ad runs the excitement is gone. This guide does all five in one sitting with the SitesPlaced AI Co-founder — the four agents, the Creative studio, carousels, the SEO audit, the campaign planner and the retargeting kit inside your store dashboard. Nine steps, one afternoon, and an honest count of what it costs in credits at the end.
Before you sit down
Have four things ready. One clean phone photo of the product in daylight on a plain background. The facts: material, size or weight, what it is for, and the price. Your rough margin on it, as a percentage. And the WhatsApp numbers of the people who have bought from you before — your Orders tab has them. The AI Co-founder is instructed never to invent product facts, so what you give it is what it works from.
What the plan is
SitesPlaced AI Co-founder is ₹1,499/month, includes everything in the ₹499 Growth plan, and comes with 1,500 AI credits a month. One credit is ₹1 of face value, the price of every action is shown before you run it, and failed generations are refunded. Every change to your store arrives as an Apply card you approve first.
The launch, step by step
- Add the product with the phone photo. Products → Add product. Name, price, category, the phone photo as the first image, and the facts in the description box in plain words — you will replace the prose in step 3, but Brix reads this box for the facts. Set the stock and save. On a live store a saved product is visible straight away — that is fine, nobody is looking for it yet; the broadcast in step 8 is the announcement. No credits.
- Make a studio packshot and a lifestyle scene. AI Co-founder → Creative studio. Choose Studio packshot, pick the product, generate — 12 credits at standard quality. It keeps the product's shape, colour and label and puts it on a clean off-white studio background, square, ready for the product card. Check it, then press Set as cover. Now choose Lifestyle scene (4:5, 12 credits) — the product on a wooden table by a window in an Indian home, or describe your own setting in the details box. Check it, press Add to gallery. Two images, 24 credits, and the product page already looks like a brand.
- Ask Brix to write the description. Open the SitesPlaced Agents button and tell Brix: “Rewrite the description of [product] — benefit first, then the material and size facts, then who it is for.” It comes back as an Apply card showing the new text. Read it. If it has invented anything the facts did not say, tell it and it will fix it. Press Apply. One credit per message. If you want to know what a good description looks like before you judge it, the rules are in how to write product descriptions that sell.
- Run the SEO audit for the meta description. AI Co-founder → SEO → Run audit, 5 credits. Beacon reads your store title, description and every product and comes back with a score, buyer keywords, a store title and description rewrite, and a meta description and title suggestion for each product — the new one included. Tick the new product's meta description (and anything else you like) and apply. The meta description is what Google shows under your link; the audit writes it as a sentence someone would click, under 155 characters.
- Make the launch announcement and the story ad. Back in Creative studio. Launch announcement renders your exact headline (“NEW: Brass Diya Set”) in large type above the product spotlit on a dark background — it defaults to the premium tier, 25 credits, because rendered text needs the sharper model. Then Story / Reel cover (9:16, 12 credits) with the headline, an offer line if you have one, and a call to action such as “Tap to order”. Read the text on both images letter by letter before you use them.
- Build a 5-slide carousel. AI Co-founder → Carousels. Topic: “5 ways to use the new brass diya set this festive season” (or “what makes it different”, or “how it is made”). Slides: 5. Style: Product + text slides if you want the product on every slide, Bold text slides if you want a clean text post. It returns the slide copy, the rendered slides in one consistent style, a caption and up to six hashtags. 12 credits per slide, 60 for five. Slide 1 is the hook, the last slide is the CTA.
- Plan the campaign at ₹300 a day. AI Co-founder → Campaigns. Goal: “Get the first 20 orders of the new brass diya set.” Budget ₹300/day, 7 days, your margin, and choose the new product under Products to push. Five credits. You get one to three products with the reason, the ₹2,100 total and the break-even ROAS, five hook angles with primary text and headlines, three or four creative briefs, an audience plan (broad, then interests, then retargeting), a 7-day schedule, a WhatsApp broadcast with a follow-up, an Instagram caption, kill and scale rules and honest risks — it will tell you the new product has no history yet. Set the ads up in Meta Ads Manager one hook per ad set. The walk-through is in plan your first Meta Ads campaign with AI.
- Send the WhatsApp broadcast to existing customers. The campaign plan already wrote the broadcast — short lines, one CTA, the product link. Copy it. Open the product page once more to check the cover, the price and the description, then send it. On the AI Co-founder plan that is Broadcasts in the dashboard — the campaign plan's Send to subscribers link pre-fills it — which goes to your newsletter subscribers and past buyers by email now, and on WhatsApp through a Meta-approved template once your WhatsApp Cloud API is connected (up to 2,000 recipients a send, three sends a day). Without the Cloud API, send it from the WhatsApp Business app to a broadcast list of past buyers (lists hold up to 256 contacts and reach people who have saved your number) or through your WhatsApp Business API tool. You press send; the AI does not. Send the follow-up from the plan three days later to those who did not reply. If you want the message tailored — a different tone, Hinglish, a mention of the old product they bought — ask Bloom, the growth agent, for one credit.
- Add the product feed to Meta Catalog. AI Co-founder → Retargeting. Your store publishes a product feed at
yourstore/feed.csv(andfeed.xmlfor Google Merchant Center). In Meta Commerce Manager, open your catalog, add a data source, choose a scheduled feed and paste the URL. From then on the new product — with its new packshot and price — is in your catalog automatically, which is what lets your retargeting ads show the exact product a visitor looked at. The Pixel and Conversions API are already part of the store on the Growth plan, so the retargeting audience fills on its own once the ads start. No credits.
The credit bill, added up
| Step | Action | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Add the product | 0 |
| 2 | Studio packshot + Lifestyle scene (standard) | 12 + 12 = 24 |
| 3 | Brix rewrites the description (one message) | 1 |
| 4 | SEO audit | 5 |
| 5 | Launch announcement (premium) + Story ad (standard) | 25 + 12 = 37 |
| 6 | Carousel, 5 slides | 5 × 12 = 60 |
| 7 | Campaign plan | 5 |
| 8 | WhatsApp broadcast (written inside the plan) | 0 |
| 9 | Meta Catalog feed | 0 |
| Total | One full launch | 132 |
Prices as published on the plan in September 2026. A second Brix message to fix the description, or one to Bloom for a tailored broadcast, adds a credit each. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
132 credits is under a tenth of the 1,500 that come with the plan every month, so a store launching one product a week is nowhere near the allowance. If you generate more variations — three packshots to choose from, two carousel styles — expect 200 to 250. Draft quality at 2 credits is the cheap way to explore a scene before spending 12 or 25 on the final.
What to check before anything goes live
The AI Co-founder is built so that nothing reaches your live store without an Apply, but the check is yours to do. Five things, in order of how often they need fixing:
- The product in every image. Same shape, same colour, same label text, same number of items. The studio is told to keep the product identical and change only the scene, but a label with six words can come back with five. Regenerate rather than approve a near-miss.
- Every fact in the description. Material, size, weight, care instructions. Brix only uses what you gave it, so an error here is usually an error in what you typed in step 1.
- The rendered text on the creatives. Headline, offer, CTA — spell-check them on the image, not in the form.
- The price and the link in the WhatsApp broadcast. The plan uses your real price; confirm it matches what you published and that the link opens the product, not the home page.
- The meta description length. The audit writes to fit, but if you edited it, keep it under 155 characters so Google does not cut it off.
What the AI Co-founder does not do — yet
It writes the broadcast; you press send, from Broadcasts in the dashboard or the WhatsApp Business app. It does not post to Instagram for you, reply to messages that arrive on your WhatsApp number, or make video — the WhatsApp replies and the video are on the roadmap. (Abandoned-cart reminders and promotions that start and stop on a schedule are live on the plan, so they are not on this list.) And Ledger, the co-founder agent, will not estimate how the launch will go: it reports the visits, funnel and orders it has read, so a day after launch it can tell you exactly what happened, and before launch it will tell you it has nothing to read yet.
The 30-minute version
If an afternoon is more than you have, the four steps that matter most are 1, 2 (packshot only), 3 and 8: add the product, one studio packshot as the cover, Brix writes the description, and the WhatsApp broadcast goes to past buyers. That is 13 credits and it gets the product in front of the people most likely to buy it today. Do the carousel, the ads and the catalog feed the next morning. The full pre-launch checklist for a store, not just a product, is in the online store launch checklist.
FAQs
How many credits does a full product launch cost on the AI Co-founder?
About 132 at the default quality tiers: 24 for a studio packshot and a lifestyle scene, 1 for the Brix description, 5 for the SEO audit, 37 for the launch announcement (premium) and story ad, 60 for a five-slide carousel and 5 for the campaign plan. The WhatsApp broadcast is written inside the campaign plan and the Meta Catalog feed is free. The plan includes 1,500 credits a month, so that is under a tenth of one month's allowance.
Does the AI post to Instagram or send the WhatsApp broadcast for me?
Instagram, no: it writes the caption, the hashtags and the carousel slides and renders the images; you post. The broadcast, yes, on the AI Co-founder plan: it writes the broadcast and the follow-up, and you send them from Broadcasts in the dashboard — email to your subscribers and past buyers now, WhatsApp through a Meta-approved template once your Cloud API is connected. Abandoned-cart reminders and scheduled promotions on the same plan run on their own once set. WhatsApp auto-replies and AI video are not live.
Will the description or the ad copy invent claims about my product?
It is instructed not to. Brix, Beacon and the campaign planner work only from the facts you typed into the product and the store, and the planner says so in its Risks section when it has too little to go on. You still read every Apply card before you approve it, because the agent can only be as accurate as what you gave it.
Can I launch on the free plan or the ₹499 Growth plan without the AI?
Yes. The free plan publishes a real store with unlimited products, 0% commission, Razorpay, COD and WhatsApp checkout; the Growth plan adds AI product and store copy, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, reviews, sales boosters and analytics. What the AI Co-founder adds is the Creative studio, carousels, the campaign planner, the SEO audit, the retargeting kit and the four agents — the parts of a launch that otherwise take a photographer, a designer and a copywriter. If you have those already, you do not need it.
Do the AI images keep my product exactly as it is?
Every style tells the model to keep the product's shape, colour, label, pattern and proportions identical and change only the scene, surface, lighting and camera, and in practice it usually does. Usually is not always: small label text and item counts are the common misses, which is why you check every image before pressing Set as cover or using it in an ad. A failed generation is refunded; a near-miss you should regenerate.
How does the Meta Catalog feed help a new product?
Once your store's feed.csv is added to Meta Commerce Manager as a scheduled data source, every product you publish — name, price, image, link — appears in your catalog without you uploading anything. That is what lets a retargeting ad show a visitor the exact product they looked at, including a product you launched this morning. The Google Merchant Center feed at feed.xml works the same way for free Google Shopping listings.
Launch your next product in one sitting.
