AI credits explained: what 1,500 credits buy every month.

SitesPlaced AI Co-founder is ₹1,499 a month and comes with 1,500 AI credits. Every AI action in the store dashboard, from a one-line question to an agent to a 4K ad creative, has a published price in credits, and that price is shown before you press the button. This is the whole system explained in plain terms: what a credit is worth, what each action costs, what three realistic months look like with the arithmetic shown, why we meter at all, how top-ups work, and how the monthly allowance arrives.

One credit is one rupee

A credit is worth ₹1 of face value. The plan is ₹1,499 a month and includes 1,500 credits; a 500-credit top-up is ₹499. So when the creative studio says a premium image is 25 credits, you can read that as about ₹25, and when a carousel says 60 credits for five slides, that is about ₹60. There is no separate exchange rate to learn and no bonus credits that make one rupee worth different amounts in different places.

The credit balance sits at the top of the AI Co-founder tab, under Overview. Every button that spends credits shows its price next to it, and the balance updates in place the moment the action finishes. If the balance is short, the button says so and offers a top-up instead of running.

Outside India

The plan is $29.99 a month abroad and still includes 1,500 credits, with packs at $9.99, $17.99 and $39.99. The credit price of every action is the same everywhere; only the currency you buy them in changes.

The full price table

Ten actions are metered. Everything else in the plan (the dashboard, the Ecommerce features, the product feeds for Meta and Google, the retargeting checklist, the sales boosters) is included and costs nothing per use.

ActionCreditsWhat it is
Agent message1One message to any of the four agents: Brix (edits the store), Ledger (reads your real numbers), Bloom (writes WhatsApp and Instagram marketing), Beacon (SEO). Every change they propose is an Apply card you approve.
Product copy rewrite1Per product, in bulk. Title, description and highlights rewritten from what the product actually is.
Campaign plan5Goal and daily budget in; products picked from your real best-sellers, break-even ROAS, five hook angles, an audience plan, a 7-day schedule with kill and scale rules, a WhatsApp broadcast and an Instagram caption out.
SEO audit5The whole store: a score, buyer keywords, a store title and description rewrite, per-product meta descriptions. Tick what to apply.
Image · draft2A fast, low-quality render for exploring a style or a layout. Not for posting.
Image · standard12Social posts, WhatsApp, product cards. Most product photos and ad creatives.
Image · premium (2K)25Hero shots, ads and banners at 2K.
Image · ultra45The best text-in-image rendering and realism, or 4K.
Carousel slide12Per slide, at standard quality, with the slide copy, caption and hashtags included. A carousel is 3 to 7 slides.
Storefront assistant message1One shopper question answered on your store from your catalogue and policies (off by default; switch it on under Automations). Cart reminders, broadcasts, scheduled promotions and the Monday digest cost nothing per use.

Prices are the same on the monthly and the yearly plan, and the same for top-up credits. The dashboard and the AI Co-founder page read the same price table, so the number next to the button is the published one.

The four image tiers use different models: GPT Image 2 for draft, standard and ultra, Gemini 3 Pro Image for the 2K premium tier, with Seedream and Nano Banana 2 as automatic fallbacks if a provider is slow or down. They are chosen for quality per rupee, and the model actually used is recorded on every generation.

Three example months, with the arithmetic

Numbers on a price table are abstract until you see a month. Here are three, for a one-person store selling on Instagram and WhatsApp. Each line is quantity × price, and each total is checked.

A quiet month. No campaign, no launch. You ask the agents things, refresh a few product photos and post one carousel.

ActionQuantityCredits
Agent messages60 × 160
Product copy rewrites10 × 110
SEO audit1 × 55
Standard images8 × 1296
Carousel slides (one 5-slide carousel)5 × 1260
Total231

231 of 1,500 used. 1,269 stay in the balance.

A festival month. Diwali is three weeks away. You plan two campaigns, make gifting creatives in every size, run three carousels and rewrite the copy on the gifting range.

ActionQuantityCredits
Agent messages150 × 1150
Campaign plans2 × 510
SEO audit1 × 55
Product copy rewrites40 × 140
Draft images (exploring styles)20 × 240
Standard images (story covers, WhatsApp posters)30 × 12360
Premium images (Diwali gifting creatives, feed ads)20 × 25500
Ultra images (the text-heavy hero creatives)4 × 45180
Carousel slides (three 5-slide carousels)15 × 12180
Total1,465

1,465 of 1,500 used. 35 left, and no top-up needed. This is roughly the month the allowance was sized for.

A launch month. Thirty new products arrive at once. Every one needs a packshot and a lifestyle photo, the launch needs ad creatives, and you want two carousels to announce it.

ActionQuantityCredits
Agent messages120 × 1120
Campaign plan1 × 55
SEO audit1 × 55
Product copy rewrites30 × 130
Draft images20 × 240
Standard images (a packshot and a lifestyle shot for 30 products)60 × 12720
Premium images (launch announcements, feed ads)20 × 25500
Ultra images4 × 45180
Carousel slides (one 5-slide, one 7-slide)12 × 12144
Total1,744

1,744 needed against 1,500 included: 244 short. One 500-credit top-up (₹499) covers it and leaves 256 in the balance for the following month. Total spend for the launch month: ₹1,499 + ₹499.

Two things stand out. Images are where credits go; messages and copy barely register, so asking the agents a lot is never the problem. And the launch month is the exception, not the rule: a store does not add thirty products every month, which is why the allowance is 1,500 and not 2,500 with a higher price.

Why we meter instead of saying "unlimited"

Text is cheap to generate; images are not. An agent message costs us a fraction of a rupee. A premium 2K image costs us a real, per-image amount from the model provider, and an ultra one costs more. A plan that said "unlimited AI" at ₹1,499 would have to do one of two things when a seller made three hundred premium images in a week: quietly slow them down, or quietly lose money until it could not.

We chose the third option. Every action has a published price, set above what it costs us to run so the plan is sustainable however the credits are spent, and the price is shown before the button is pressed. A generation that fails is refunded automatically; you never pay for an image that did not arrive. The result is a plan we can keep at this price without a fair-use clause that decides, without telling you, when you have had enough.

It also keeps us honest about the models. Because the cost of every generation is recorded, we can move an action to a better model for the money without changing what you pay, and we can say which model each tier uses instead of hiding it.

Top-up packs

PackPriceRupees per creditAbout
500 credits₹499≈ ₹1.00About 40 standard images, or 500 agent messages
1,000 credits₹999≈ ₹1.00About 40 premium creatives
2,500 credits₹2,499≈ ₹1.00A full festival season of creatives

Abroad: $9.99, $17.99 and $39.99.

  • Packs are one-to-one on purpose. A bigger pack does not buy cheaper credits, so there is no reason to buy more than you need this month.
  • Top-up credits never expire while you are subscribed.
  • Packs are for AI Co-founder subscribers. Credits on their own do not unlock the AI Co-founder tab; the plan does.
  • Buy one from the Top up link under the balance, or from the message that appears when a button cannot run for lack of credits. Payment is in place, through Razorpay in India and Dodo elsewhere.

How the monthly 1,500 arrives

  1. Every successful charge grants 1,500. When the payment gateway confirms a month's payment, 1,500 credits are added to your balance. The grant is tied to that payment's id, so a gateway retry never grants twice and a missed grant can be traced to its payment and fixed.
  2. Yearly plans get the same 1,500 a month. The yearly plan (₹14,990, two months free) does not drop 18,000 credits on day one. It grants 1,500 each month of the year, keyed to the month, so the allowance and the usage stay in step.
  3. It is one balance. Monthly credits and top-up credits go into the same number, and every grant, spend and refund is recorded as a line in a ledger on our side, so a disputed charge can be traced to the action that caused it. Nothing in the system resets what is left at the end of a month.
  4. If the plan lapses. The AI Co-founder tab locks until the plan is active again, and the store keeps running on whatever plan you are on. The balance is kept on the account; you simply cannot spend it until you are back.

Sellers from the early-access testing group keep the agents they already had. Everyone else subscribes from the pricing page or from the AI Co-founder tab in the dashboard, and Growth plan sellers who upgrade keep everything they have, because the plan includes everything in Growth.

Compared with "metered AI capacity that varies by task"

Not every AI store tool prices this way, and it is worth understanding the alternative. Alippo, for example, sells its plans as tiers of AI capacity: as listed on its pricing page in September 2026 (plans change), Starter at ₹1,900 a month with limited AI capacity, Growth at ₹5,700 with five times as much, Scale at ₹19,000 with twenty times, and a note that "AI capacity reflects metered model usage and varies by task". That is a legitimate design with a real advantage: the tool can run things on its own, such as flash sales and abandoned-cart reminders, without the seller pricing each step.

The trade-off is that the seller does not know what a task costs until it has run, or how much capacity a month contains, because the unit is not published. We took the other side of that trade. Our agents write; you decide what goes out. Nothing happens on the live store without an Apply card you approve. And every action has a number next to it before you press the button.

If you want an AI that acts on its own inside the store, the capacity model may suit you and the honest side-by-side is on the comparison page. If you want to know the price before you press the button, a published credit table is the model, and 1,500 credits a month for ₹1,499, with everything in the Growth plan included, is where SitesPlaced AI Co-founder starts.

Getting the most from 1,500

  • Draft before you commit. Two credits to see whether a style suits the product, then twelve for the real one. Four drafts and one standard is 20 credits; five standards you throw away is 60.
  • Standard for the feed, premium for the hero. Most social posts and WhatsApp images do not need 2K. Spend 25 on the one creative that will carry the ad budget.
  • Ask the agents freely. A message is 1 credit. A hundred questions to Ledger about last week's orders is 100 credits, less than nine standard images. The agents are the cheapest thing on the table.
  • One SEO audit a month. Five credits, and the proposals are ticked and applied in one go. Running it weekly does not find much new.
  • Bulk copy on new products. A rupee a product. Rewrite the whole catalogue once and move on.
  • Five-slide carousels. 60 credits, and five slides is where most topics fit. Go to seven only when the topic really has seven parts.

The two guides that show these prices in use are AI ad creatives for a small Indian store and Instagram carousel posts with AI.

FAQs

Is one credit exactly one rupee?

At face value, yes: the plan gives 1,500 credits for ₹1,499 a month, and a 500-credit pack is ₹499. Treat a credit as a rupee when you read any price in the dashboard. Abroad the plan is $29.99 for the same 1,500 credits, and the credit price of each action is identical.

Do unused credits expire?

Top-up credits never expire while you are subscribed. Monthly credits go into the same balance as top-ups, and nothing in the system resets what is left at the end of a month. If your plan lapses, the AI Co-founder tab locks and the balance stays on the account until you are back on the plan.

What happens if a generation fails?

The credits for it are returned automatically, whether it is an image, a carousel slide, a plan or an audit. You only pay for work that arrived. An image that arrives but that you do not like is charged, which is why the draft tier exists for exploring.

Can I buy credits without the AI Co-founder plan?

Top-up packs are for subscribers. Credits alone do not unlock the AI Co-founder tab; the plan does. If you are on the free or Growth plan, the tab shows you what is inside and offers the upgrade, which includes the first 1,500 credits.

Are agent messages really only 1 credit?

Yes. One message to Brix, Ledger, Bloom or Beacon is 1 credit, and the reply, including any Apply card it proposes, is part of that message. Applying the card is not metered. Two hundred messages in a month is 200 credits, less than the cost of seventeen standard images.

How do I see what I have spent?

Under AI Co-founder → Overview: the balance, the number of completed generations and your recent creatives. Every generation is stored with the credits it was charged, the tier and the model actually used, and every grant, spend and refund is a line in a ledger on our side, so if a charge ever looks wrong we can trace it to the action. 1,500 credits, every price shown first.

SitesPlaced AI Co-founder is ₹1,499 a month: four agents, the campaign planner, the creative studio, carousels, SEO audit, retargeting kit and everything in the Growth plan, with 1,500 credits included and failed generations refunded.
