The StoreMaker alternative that costs ₹0 a day, not ₹7.
StoreMaker has no free plan. Its cheapest option is Starter at ₹222/month, limited to 30 products and 5 categories with UPI and cash on delivery. SitesPlaced’s free plan has no product or category cap, includes Razorpay for cards and net banking as well as UPI, adds Shiprocket and Shipmozo shipping and WhatsApp checkout, and charges 0% commission. At ₹499/month, where StoreMaker’s Growth plan sits, SitesPlaced adds a custom domain plus Meta Conversions API, WhatsApp Business API and AI copy. Here is the full breakdown.
StoreMaker pricing, decoded
StoreMaker markets itself around a “just ₹7/day” figure. That is fair arithmetic for the monthly Starter plan: ₹222 divided by 30 days is roughly ₹7.40. As listed on their pricing page in August 2026 (plans change, so confirm before you buy), the full ladder looks like this: a 7-day trial for ₹50; Starter at ₹222/month with 5 categories, 30 products, COD and UPI through GPay and PhonePe, a Google Maps embed and basic SEO; Growth at ₹499/month with unlimited products, a custom domain, logo and colour customisation and priority support; and three Starter prepay bundles at ₹999 for 6 months, ₹1,799 for 1 year and ₹2,999 for 2 years.
A few things stand out. The trial is paid, which is unusual. The Starter caps are tight: 30 products and 5 categories is a single rack of clothing or one page of a jewellery catalogue. The prepay bundles bring the daily figure down, to about ₹4.90 a day on the annual bundle and ₹4.10 a day on the two-year one, but they keep the same 30-product ceiling for the whole term. And Razorpay-style card payments, Shiprocket, WhatsApp automation and Meta ad tracking do not appear on either plan.
None of that makes StoreMaker a bad product. It makes it a product with a specific shape: a small, simple, UPI-and-COD storefront that you pay for by the month or the year. The question for anyone searching “store maker online store India” is whether that shape fits, and whether paying for it makes sense when the same shape, without the caps, is available free.

The free plan on SitesPlaced is not a demo. It publishes a live store on a sitesplaced.com URL with unlimited products and orders, inventory and variants, coupons and Buy-X-Get-Y offers, PDF invoices, product badges, newsletter capture, Standard and Express delivery options with custom order IDs, and all 17 storefront themes. The limits are 500 MB of storage, 5 sites, and a small “Made using SitesPlaced” badge. The only per-sale cost is Razorpay’s own gateway fee when a customer pays online.
₹499 vs ₹499: same price, different stack
StoreMaker Growth and SitesPlaced Ecommerce both cost ₹499/month, so this is the cleanest comparison on the page. One caveat first: SitesPlaced’s ₹499 is an early-bird price locked for the first 30 stores, after which it becomes ₹999/month. If you are reading this early, the two plans are priced identically.
| Feature | SitesPlaced Ecommerce | StoreMaker Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₹499/month early-bird (₹999 after first 30 stores) | ₹499/month |
| Products | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Custom domain | Included, one-click DNS for Indian registrars | Included |
| Branding | Badge removed | Logo and colour customisation |
| Payments | Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets), COD, WhatsApp checkout | UPI and COD as on Starter; no card gateway listed |
| Shipping | Shiprocket and Shipmozo | Not listed |
| Meta ads | Pixel + Conversions API, server-side Purchase events | Not listed |
| Business API alerts from your own number | Not listed | |
| AI | AI copy for products and sections | Not listed |
| Analytics | Store analytics plus custom head code for GA4 or Clarity | Not listed |
| Importer | Instagram, website URL, PDF, dm2buy, Shopexer | Not listed |
| Edit by chatting | ChatGPT and Claude via MCP | Not listed |
| Support | WhatsApp sales line | Priority support |
Both plans give you unlimited products and a custom domain. From there, SitesPlaced adds the integrations that turn a catalogue into a business: Razorpay for cards, net banking and wallets alongside UPI; Shiprocket and Shipmozo for AWBs and tracking; Meta Pixel with the server-side Conversions API so your Instagram ads see real purchases; WhatsApp Business API alerts sent from your own number; AI-written product and section copy; analytics; and a store importer that rebuilds a catalogue from Instagram, a website, a PDF, dm2buy or Shopexer. You can also edit the store by talking to ChatGPT or Claude through our MCP server. The full list of integrations and what each one does is in this integrations guide.
To be fair to StoreMaker: once SitesPlaced’s early-bird window closes, the Ecommerce plan is ₹999/month, which is ₹500 more than Growth. At that point the comparison is ₹999 for domain plus Razorpay, shipping, CAPI, WhatsApp Business API and AI, against ₹499 for domain plus unlimited products. If you only want a domain and nothing else on that list, Growth is the cheaper paid plan. If you want any two of the integrations, SitesPlaced is still the shorter route, and the free plan is there for everything below the domain.
The ₹2,999 two-year prepay, versus free
StoreMaker’s best per-day price is the two-year Starter bundle at ₹2,999. Spread over 24 months that is about ₹125/month, and it is a genuinely low number. But it buys 24 months of the Starter limits: 30 products, 5 categories, UPI and COD, no custom domain. If your catalogue outgrows 30 items in month four, the remaining 20 months of prepaid Starter are money spent on a ceiling.
Put the same ₹2,999 next to SitesPlaced. The free plan already removes the product and category caps and adds Razorpay, shipping and WhatsApp checkout, so the baseline comparison is ₹2,999 against ₹0. If you want a custom domain, six months of SitesPlaced Ecommerce at the early-bird price is ₹2,994, almost exactly the same outlay, and it comes with Meta CAPI, WhatsApp Business API, AI copy and analytics. After those six months you can drop back to free and keep selling with unlimited products; only the domain, branding removal and the paid integrations switch off.
The point is not that prepaying is wrong. It is that a two-year commitment to a capped plan only makes sense if you are certain the cap will never bite, and most sellers are not certain of that in month one.
Who should stay on StoreMaker
- You recently paid for a multi-year bundle. If you bought the ₹1,799 or ₹2,999 prepay a few months ago and the store works, run it out. You can build a SitesPlaced store in parallel for free and switch your bio link whenever the term ends.
- Your whole catalogue is under 30 products in 5 categories, and UPI plus COD is all you take. StoreMaker’s Starter was designed for exactly this seller. It is still ₹222/month more than free, but if you value their setup and priority support, that is a legitimate trade.
- You rely on their Google Maps embed. It is listed on Starter. SitesPlaced stores have an editable contact section with your address and hours, but if a map tile on the page is central to how you sell, check our templates first.
How to start on SitesPlaced
- Sign up free. There is no ₹50 trial and nothing to cancel later.
- Bring your catalogue. Paste your current store URL, your Instagram handle or a PDF price list into the importer. Products, prices, images, variants and categories come across. If your StoreMaker store was cut down to 30 items to fit the cap, import from Instagram instead and list everything.
- Choose one of 17 themes. Browse them on the templates page. Every heading, image, menu item and footer column is editable, and you can upload a mobile-specific hero image.
- Connect Razorpay and shipping. Add your Razorpay keys for UPI, cards and net banking, switch on COD with or without a charge, and connect Shiprocket or Shipmozo so every order gets an AWB and a tracking page.
- Publish, then decide on ₹499 later. Upgrade only when you want your own domain, Meta CAPI, WhatsApp Business API or AI copy.

Frequently asked questions
Does StoreMaker have a free plan?
No. As listed on their pricing page in August 2026, StoreMaker offers a 7-day trial for ₹50, then Starter at ₹222/month (30 products, 5 categories, UPI and COD), Growth at ₹499/month (unlimited products, custom domain), and Starter prepay options of ₹999 for 6 months, ₹1,799 for 1 year and ₹2,999 for 2 years. What is the cheapest StoreMaker alternative?
SitesPlaced at ₹0/month. The free plan lets you publish a real store with unlimited products, Razorpay checkout (UPI, cards, net banking), cash on delivery, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket and Shipmozo shipping, coupons and PDF invoices, with 0% commission. StoreMaker's cheapest ongoing plan is ₹222/month.
StoreMaker Growth is ₹499/month. What does SitesPlaced give for the same ₹499?
SitesPlaced's Ecommerce plan is ₹499/month early-bird (₹999/month after the first 30 stores). It includes a custom domain, branding removal, AI copy, store analytics, custom head code, Meta Pixel plus Conversions API and WhatsApp Business API order alerts from your own number, on top of everything in the free plan. StoreMaker Growth lists unlimited products, a custom domain, logo and colour customisation and priority support.
Is ₹7 a day a good price for an online store?
₹7 a day is about ₹222 a month, or ₹2,664 a year, for a store limited to 30 products and 5 categories. Whether it is good value depends on what you compare it to. SitesPlaced charges ₹0 a day for an unlimited-product store with Razorpay and shipping, so the question is what the ₹222 buys that free does not.
Can I move my products from StoreMaker to SitesPlaced?
Yes. Paste your existing store URL, your Instagram handle or a PDF catalogue into the SitesPlaced importer at /import. Products, prices, images, variants and categories are rebuilt as an editable SitesPlaced store you can publish free.
