FlexiCommerce vs SitesPlaced: a platform at ₹999 or a store at ₹0?
Short version. FlexiCommerce is a multi-app ecommerce platform, website plus customer app plus delivery app plus admin, priced from ₹999/month, with multi-vendor and B2B on the ₹1,999 Business plan. SitesPlaced is a store builder that publishes for free, includes Razorpay, COD, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket and Shipmozo at ₹0, and charges ₹499/month only when you want your own domain, Meta Pixel + Conversions API, WhatsApp Business API order alerts and AI copy. For a small seller taking orders from Instagram and WhatsApp, SitesPlaced is the cheaper and simpler fit. For a business that needs a branded app of its own or a marketplace of sellers, FlexiCommerce is the one to price. The rest of this page is the evidence.
Two products built for two different sellers
The confusing thing about comparing these two is that they both say “ecommerce” and mean different things. FlexiCommerce’s pitch is breadth: one subscription that ships a website, a customer app, a delivery app and an admin panel, with a seller app and multi-vendor added on the Business tier. It lists Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU and PhonePe for payments, Shiprocket and Shipway with 17+ couriers for shipping, 9 Indian languages, GST invoices, loyalty, gamification, live commerce and B2B. That is a lot of software, and the price reflects it.
SitesPlaced’s pitch is depth on a narrower job: one seller, one store, every integration that seller actually uses wired in and most of it free. Unlimited products, 17 themes, Razorpay, COD, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket, Shipmozo, coupons, invoices, variants, badges and a newsletter box cost nothing. The paid plan is about growth tooling: your domain, ad attribution through Meta’s Conversions API, order alerts from your own WhatsApp Business number, AI copy and analytics. When you compare them, the question is not “which has more” but “which has what I will use, at a price my orders cover”.

What a year costs
Monthly prices hide the real number. Here is the subscription cost of one store over 12 months on each option, before the domain you register and before Razorpay’s gateway fee, both of which you pay on either platform.
| FlexiCommerce Starter, paid monthly (₹999 × 12) | ₹11,988 |
| FlexiCommerce Starter, paid annually (₹799 × 12) | ₹9,588 |
| FlexiCommerce Business, paid monthly (₹1,999 × 12) | ₹23,988 |
| FlexiCommerce Business, paid annually (₹1,599 × 12) | ₹19,188 |
| SitesPlaced Free | ₹0 |
| SitesPlaced Ecommerce, early-bird (₹499 × 12) | ₹5,988 |
| SitesPlaced Ecommerce, after the first 30 stores (₹999 × 12) | ₹11,988 |
Three things to read out of that table. First, a seller who stays on the SitesPlaced free plan for a year pays nothing for the platform and still has payments, shipping and WhatsApp checkout. Second, at the early-bird price the paid plan is about half of FlexiCommerce’s cheapest annual option, and it includes Meta CAPI and WhatsApp API alerts, which that option does not list. Third, to be straight about it: once the first 30 stores have claimed early-bird, SitesPlaced Ecommerce is ₹999/month, the same figure as FlexiCommerce Starter paid monthly. At that point the difference is what each includes and whether you needed a paid plan at all, not the sticker price.
If you are weighing the cost of the rest of your stack too, this post on app costs goes through what integrations add up to on platforms that charge for them separately.
Choose FlexiCommerce if…
- You need a branded customer app your buyers install, and a delivery app for your own riders.
- You are building a marketplace where other sellers list under your brand, or a B2B portal with trade buyers.
- Your storefront must run in several Indian languages with a switcher, not just copy you write in one language.
- Loyalty programmes, gamification or live commerce are part of the plan, not a nice-to-have.
- ₹999 to ₹1,999 a month is already a rounding error against your order volume.
Choose SitesPlaced if…
- You sell from Instagram, WhatsApp or a small catalogue and want one link that takes UPI, cards and COD today, for ₹0.
- You want shipping through Shiprocket or Shipmozo without paying a subscription to unlock it.
- You already have a catalogue somewhere (Instagram, a PDF, another store) and want it rebuilt automatically rather than typed in again.
- You plan to run Meta ads and want server-side Purchase events, or you want order alerts sent from your own WhatsApp Business number, and you would rather pay ₹499 for both than a platform fee plus add-ons.
- You would like to edit the store by describing changes to ChatGPT or Claude, or manage orders from an Android app.
- You do not want a trial clock deciding when you go live.
FlexiCommerce vs Shopify or Dukaan: the same question
A lot of people land here after searching FlexiCommerce vs Shopify or FlexiCommerce vs Dukaan. We will not restate those platforms’ prices here because they move, but the method is the same whichever two you are comparing: write down the five things your store must do this month, find the cheapest plan on each platform that does all five, and multiply by twelve. Then check what is locked behind a higher tier or an add-on. The platform with the longest feature list is rarely the one that wins that exercise for a small seller.
Our own guides for those comparisons are at Shopify alternative for India and Dukaan alternatives in 2026, and the roundup of the best ecommerce platform for a small business in India is at this page.
Test both in one afternoon
You do not have to take our word, or theirs. FlexiCommerce’s 14-day trial needs no card and allows ten products on one theme, so pick your ten best sellers and build the same ten on both. On SitesPlaced, paste your Instagram handle into the importer and the ten will mostly already be there. Then do four things on your phone, because that is where your buyers are:
- Open the store link from a WhatsApp message and count taps to checkout.
- Place a COD order and see how the confirmation reaches you and the buyer.
- Generate a shipping label for that order and find the tracking page.
- Change a headline and a product price and note how long it took.
When the two weeks end, one of those test stores goes offline and the other keeps taking orders. That is itself a data point.
Frequently asked questions
Which is cheaper, FlexiCommerce or SitesPlaced?
SitesPlaced. A published SitesPlaced store costs ₹0 with unlimited products, Razorpay, COD, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket and Shipmozo included; the paid Ecommerce plan is ₹499/month early-bird (₹999/month after the first 30 stores). FlexiCommerce's Starter plan is ₹999/month, or ₹799/month billed annually, as listed on their pricing page in August 2026, and there is no free plan. Both charge 0% commission.
What does FlexiCommerce have that SitesPlaced does not?
A branded customer app, a delivery app, a seller app with multi-vendor on the Business plan, B2B, 9 Indian languages, loyalty, gamification and live commerce, and gateway choice across Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU and PhonePe. SitesPlaced is a single-seller web store and does not offer apps, marketplaces or B2B portals.
What does SitesPlaced have that FlexiCommerce's pricing page does not list?
A free plan that publishes, a store importer that rebuilds a catalogue from Instagram, a website URL or a PDF, editing through ChatGPT and Claude via an official MCP server, Shipmozo alongside Shiprocket, Meta Pixel + Conversions API with server-side Purchase events, and WhatsApp Business API order alerts from your own number. The last two are on the ₹499/month plan.
How much do both cost over 12 months?
FlexiCommerce Starter: ₹11,988 paid monthly or ₹9,588 paid annually; Business: ₹23,988 monthly or ₹19,188 annually. SitesPlaced: ₹0 on the free plan, ₹5,988 on the ₹499/month early-bird Ecommerce plan, or ₹11,988 at the ₹999/month price that applies after the first 30 stores. Domain registration and Razorpay gateway fees are separate on either platform.
Is FlexiCommerce a good choice for an Instagram or WhatsApp seller?
It can work, but a seller taking orders from Instagram and WhatsApp usually needs a store link, UPI and COD checkout, courier pickup and an order message, none of which requires a customer app or a multi-vendor platform. SitesPlaced provides those on the free plan, which is why we recommend it for that seller. FlexiCommerce fits a business that needs its own app or marketplace.
Can I try both before deciding?
Yes. FlexiCommerce offers a 14-day trial with no card, limited to one theme, 10 products and 3 categories, and the store goes offline afterwards. SitesPlaced has no trial because the free plan is permanent: build, publish and take real orders for as long as you want before paying anything.
Run the test. The free store is permanent.
Import your catalogue, connect Razorpay and Shiprocket, publish in an afternoon. Pay ₹499/month only when you want your domain, Meta CAPI and WhatsApp API alerts.
