SitesPlaced now supports Qikink — merch without stock
Sell printed t-shirts, hoodies and mugs with nothing in your spare room. Printed and shipped domestically from your own Qikink account, on the free plan.
Qikink is now built into every SitesPlaced store, free. Connect your own Qikink account, map a product to a Qikink SKU, and paid orders are sent for printing automatically — Qikink prints, packs and ships to your customer. You never touch a parcel, hold no stock, and SitesPlaced takes 0% of the sale.
TL;DR
- • Free plan. 0% SitesPlaced commission — Qikink bills your own account per item.
- • Domestic printing and shipping in India, so delivery is days rather than weeks.
- • Paid orders are pushed to Qikink automatically. There is nothing for you to do per order.
- • You map each product to a Qikink SKU you have already set up with your artwork.
- • Sandbox and live modes, so you can rehearse before real money moves.
Why print-on-demand changes the maths
The reason most people never start a merch brand is not design. It is that the normal path requires buying fifty t-shirts in five sizes before you know whether anyone wants one — and then storing them, and then packing them.
Print-on-demand inverts that. Nothing is made until it sells. Your risk on a new design is the twenty minutes it took to make it, which means you can test ten designs instead of betting on one.
Qikink specifically matters for Indian sellers because it prints and ships domestically. The global print-on-demand services will happily print your shirt in the US and ship it to Pune for more than the shirt costs, on a three-week timeline. That is not a real business for an Indian store.
How it works day to day
- Set up your product and artwork in your Qikink dashboard, which gives you a SKU.
- Add the product to your store and put that SKU in the product's SKU field.
- A customer buys it and pays.
- The order is pushed to Qikink automatically. They print, pack and ship it to your customer.
The deliberate part is that this is automatic, unlike the courier integrations where you push each order by hand. Qikink both prints and ships, so there is nothing for a human to review — no parcel to pack, no decision to make. Automating it is the whole benefit.
Artwork stays in your Qikink dashboard rather than being uploaded through the integration. That is the reliable path: your print files live with the printer, and the store just references the SKU.
What it costs
The integration is on the free plan and SitesPlaced takes 0% commission. Qikink charges you per item printed, from your own account, and you set your retail price — so your margin is genuinely yours to decide rather than something a platform takes a cut of.
That is worth comparing against merch platforms that host your store and build their margin into the product cost. There, you cannot see what you are paying, and improving your margin is not something you can do. Here the printer bills you directly and the difference is yours.
Sandbox first
Qikink has sandbox and live environments, and the integration stores which one you are in. Rehearse an order end to end in sandbox before you switch — the failure you are avoiding is a live order printing with the wrong artwork, which costs real money and a real customer.
If you do not have the website yet
Everything above assumes you already have a store to connect Qikink to. If you are still taking orders in DMs, that is the part worth fixing first — the integration is the easy half.
A SitesPlaced store is free to build and publish, with 0% commission on every sale, on every plan. Every integration on this page is included — you connect your own accounts and nobody takes a cut in the middle.
Selling outside India as well? Printify is included free too and covers US, UK and EU printing. Both connect your own accounts.
Frequently asked questions
Does SitesPlaced take a cut of print-on-demand sales?
No. 0% commission on every plan. Qikink bills your own account per item printed, and you set the retail price, so the margin is yours.
Do I need to hold any stock?
None. Nothing is printed until an order is paid for, which is what makes testing ten designs cheaper than committing to one.
Are orders sent to Qikink automatically?
Yes. Qikink both prints and ships, so there is nothing for you to review or pack — automating the push is the entire benefit. Courier integrations work differently because there you are packing the parcel yourself.
Where does my artwork live?
In your Qikink dashboard, against a SKU you set up there. Your store references that SKU on the product, which is the reliable path — print files stay with the printer.
Qikink or Printify?
Qikink prints and ships within India, so it is the right one for Indian customers on cost and delivery time. Printify covers US, UK and EU. Both are free on every SitesPlaced plan, so a store selling to both can connect both.
