ONE ROSE, THEN THINGS GOT OUT OF HAND.
I started crocheting during a particularly rough year. A lot was happening in my personal life, my career wasn't exactly going according to plan, and I needed something — anything — to take my mind off things.
Then came yarn.
I started learning, making mistakes, undoing stitches, trying again, and eventually made my first crochet rose. I still remember the happiness I felt looking at it. It wasn't perfect, but I had made a flower out of a strand of yarn. Somehow, that felt like magic.
And then I got hooked.
Roses became tulips, daisies, sunflowers, lillies... and eventually I found myself determined to make every flower I could think of. There were endless loops of yarn, countless stitches, and, naturally, a fair amount of back pain involved.
But the best part was giving them away.
I've gifted so many bouquets since then, and I still love watching someone's face light up when they realise that every little flower was made by hand, just for them.
That feeling is what The Cozy Blooms is about.
Flowers don't have to be fresh to make someone smile. Sometimes, a little yarn, a lot of patience, and a whole lot of heart can make something even more special.
