Short version: the free plan runs a real store or website end to end; the paid plans add your own domain, a badge-free site, AI, analytics and the ad/messaging integrations. ## Free — everything to launch and run The free plan is genuinely usable for a real business, not a crippled demo: - Publish at a free `yourname.sitesplaced.com` address, with a small **"Powered by SitesPlaced"** badge. - All templates, full design control, custom pages, and menu editing. - **Stores:** **0% commission**, **unlimited products and orders**, online payments (UPI & cards), COD and WhatsApp checkout. - **Shipping:** Shiprocket and Shipmozo integrations — push orders, get AWB numbers back, show tracking. - **Inventory, coupons, offers and PDF invoices** for every order. - **Up to 5 sites** per account and **500 MB** of uploaded images and files. - The ChatGPT & Claude connector (MCP) and the store importer. - Mobile-ready out of the box — your site works on phones automatically. > **What's the badge?:** A small "Powered by SitesPlaced" mark in your footer (and a short suffix in your browser tab title). It's the only visible trace of the free plan — and the premium upgrade removes it. On websites and portfolios the badge is a small floating pill in the bottom-right corner that reads **"Made using sitesplaced.com"**. On stores it's the **"Powered by SitesPlaced"** line in the footer. Pay once and your portfolio stays unlocked. Everything else is already free on a student portfolio — all templates, AI autofill, AI content generation and a custom domain. The ₹99 buys badge removal only, and only on student portfolio sites. ## What stays the same on every plan - **0% commission** — paid plans don't change this. Razorpay's own gateway fee applies on online payments regardless of plan. - **Unlimited products and orders** — the Growth plan never lowers the free store's product allowance. - **Razorpay, COD, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket, Shipmozo, the store importer and the ChatGPT/Claude (MCP) connection** — all free. A paid plan doesn't unlock extra designs. > **Tip:** Not sure which extras you need? Most people start completely free, share their sitesplaced.com link, and only add a custom domain once they're ready to print it on cards and packaging. ## Good to know - Starter and Growth unlock their features on any website, store or gym; the Student unlock applies to student portfolios only. Holding the Student plan for a store changes nothing on it. - Storage is counted across everything you upload on the account. Compress images before uploading — a 500 KB product photo looks the same as a 5 MB one on a phone. - Site limits: free accounts can create up to 5 sites. If you hit a "Your plan allows only N sites" message when creating a new one, contact support — limits can be raised on request. - Paid features are also enforced on the live site, not just in the editor — so the badge really disappears the moment your plan is active, and comes back when it lapses.
