# Manage your subscription

> Upgrade, view your plan, update payment details, or cancel — all from your dashboard billing area.

Guide: https://sitesplaced.com/help/plans-and-billing/manage-subscription · Section: Plans & Billing · Last reviewed: 2026-10-04

Everything about your plan lives on the **Plan & Billing** page at `sitesplaced.com/dashboard/billing` — upgrading, seeing what you're on, your renewal date, and cancelling. Open it from your **Dashboard** with the **Manage Plan** button next to your plan name. You're always in control.

## Upgrade or change your plan

1. Sign in at [sitesplaced.com](https://sitesplaced.com) and open your **Dashboard**.
2. Tap **Manage Plan** to open **Plan & Billing** (or go straight to the [pricing page](https://sitesplaced.com/pricing)).
3. Under **Available Plans**, choose **Monthly** or **Annual** with the toggle. Annual is priced at 10 months.
4. Pick the plan you need — **Starter** for your own domain and badge removal on any website or store, **Growth** for the selling features on a store or gym — and tap **Upgrade**. For a student portfolio, use the **Remove portfolio badge — ₹99** button in the **Student Plan** section instead.
5. Complete the secure checkout. In India this is a Razorpay window (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). You're taken back to your dashboard with the plan active as soon as the payment is confirmed.

> **Payments are handled securely:** Checkout is processed by **Razorpay** or **Dodo**. SitesPlaced never sees or stores your card details — they're handled entirely by the payment provider.

Which provider you get depends on where you are. India pays in rupees through **Razorpay**. Everyone else sees local-currency prices and is redirected to **Dodo Payments** (cards and local payment methods). There's a region selector next to the Monthly/Annual toggle if the page has guessed your country wrong.

## Pay once, without autopay (India)

In India you don't have to set up autopay. On **Starter** and **Growth** there is a second button under the main one: **Pay ₹… once — no autopay**. It takes one payment — the monthly price for **30 days**, or the yearly price for **12 months** — and nothing renews by itself. You pay again only if you want to keep the plan.

- **No free days on this path.** The 7 free days (code **FREE7**) only exist with autopay, so paying once starts as a paid plan from the first day.
- **We remind you before it ends.** You get an email 3 days before a 30-day plan ends (7 days before a 12-month plan), and one more after it has ended.
- **Paying again early loses nothing.** On **Plan & Billing**, tap **Pay ₹… for another 30 days** (or 12 months). The new days are added after the ones you already have.
- **If you do nothing**, the plan ends on its date and your site goes back to the free plan. It stays published and nothing is deleted. Pay again later and everything comes back as you left it.
- **Nothing to cancel.** A plan paid once shows **Paid once · no autopay** and an **Ends On** date instead of **Renews On**. There is no Cancel button because there is nothing that would charge you again.

Pay once is for Starter and Growth in India. AI Co-founder, and plans bought outside India, use autopay. If autopay is already running on your account, cancel it first — otherwise you would be paying twice for the same plan. If a one-time payment can't be added to your account as it stands (for example you already hold a bigger plan), it isn't kept: it is refunded in full to the same payment method.

## See your plan & renewal date

The card at the top of **Plan & Billing** shows your plan name (for example **Growth Plan**, or **Starter + Growth Plan** if you hold both), how many sites you're using, and a status badge — **Active**, or **Cancelling at period end** once you've cancelled. Below it you'll see **Status**, **Days Left**, **Renews On** (this becomes **Access Until** after you cancel), **Started On**, and your **Monthly Cost** or **Annual Cost**.

When 5 days or fewer remain, a **Sites at risk if plan expires** box lists the sites that will lose paid features if the plan isn't renewed.

## Free days for sharing your experience

Once your store has taken a few orders (or you pay for a plan), the Home tab of your Store Dashboard shows a **Share your experience** card. Write an honest review of SitesPlaced — any rating — or post about your store on Instagram, LinkedIn or X and paste the post's link. A person reads every one, usually within a day; when it is approved you get **7 free days** of your plan per channel, once per channel, and an email saying so. Written reviews appear on sitesplaced.com/reviews with the name and store you chose.

If you have no paid plan, the days switch Starter on for a week. On a plan paid once, they are added after your paid days. On autopay they are added to your paid-through date and count the day your autopay ends — your next charge does not move. A review on Capterra is linked from the same card, but nothing is given for it: Capterra does not allow that, and we would rather have the review.

## Receipts and invoices

SitesPlaced emails you a **"Payment confirmed — you're on [plan]"** message after every successful charge. The payment provider also sends its own confirmation to the email you paid with. If you need a formal invoice for your accounts, [contact support](https://sitesplaced.com/contact) with the email on your account and the date of the payment.

## Update your payment method

Because billing runs through Razorpay/Dodo, your card or UPI details are managed by the provider, not inside SitesPlaced. If you paid through Dodo, a **Manage Subscription** button appears on the plan card — it opens your Dodo customer portal. If an autopay charge fails on a Razorpay subscription, you get a **payment did not go through** email and **Plan & Billing** shows **Payment failed** with the date of the next try. Razorpay retries over the following days; check your UPI app's **AutoPay** section and keep a balance in that account. The days you already paid for stay on; a plan whose first charge never went through comes off straight away. If every retry fails the autopay stops, and you subscribe again from **Available Plans** or pay once.

## Switch between monthly and annual

On **Plan & Billing**, scroll to **Available Plans** and set the toggle to **Annual** (or **Monthly**). Your current plan's card then shows **Switch to annual — ₹…/yr** (or **Switch to monthly**). Tap it and approve the new autopay in your UPI app: a ₹5 check is charged and refunded straight away, and nothing else is charged today.

The new billing starts on the day your current cycle ends — the card says **Switching to annual on [date]** until then — and your old autopay is stopped at that same date, so you are never charged twice for the same days. The first annual (or monthly) charge lands on the switch date. This works for autopay set up in India; a plan paid once has no autopay to switch, so just pay for 12 months the next time.

## Cancel

You can cancel a recurring upgrade from the same **Billing** area. When you cancel, your premium extras stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your site simply reverts to the free plan — it **stays published**, just with the sitesplaced.com badge again.

1. On **Plan & Billing**, tap **Cancel Subscription** on the plan card.
2. Read the confirmation: "Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period. Sites will remain live until then, after which they revert to Free plan limits. No further charges will be made." It also tells you how many sites will lose paid features.
3. Tap **Cancel Subscription** to confirm, or **Keep Plan** to back out.
4. The status changes to **Cancelling at period end** and the card shows **Subscription will end on [date]**. You'll get a "Your [plan] plan has been cancelled" email.

> **A custom domain after cancelling:** If you cancel and lose your custom-domain upgrade, your site falls back to its free `yourname.sitesplaced.com` address. Your content and store are untouched — only the address changes.

## Delete your account

At the bottom of **Plan & Billing** is a **Danger Zone** with a **Delete My Account** button. This permanently removes your sign-in, all sites and stores, products, orders, leads, uploaded files and billing records. It is irreversible — you'll be asked to type **DELETE** and press **Delete Everything**. Cancel any active subscription first so it doesn't keep billing.

## Troubleshooting

- **Paid but the plan still says Free?** Refresh **Plan & Billing**. If it's still wrong after a few minutes, [contact support](https://sitesplaced.com/contact) with the payment ID from the Razorpay or Dodo confirmation — we can match the payment to your account.
- **Badge still showing on my store after upgrading?** Check you bought **Starter** or **Growth**, not the ₹99 Student plan — the Student unlock only applies to student portfolios.
- **Can't find the billing page?** It's at `/dashboard/billing`, or **Dashboard → Manage Plan**.
- **Cancelled by mistake?** Your plan is still active until **Access Until**. Subscribe again from **Available Plans** before that date.

**Q: Where do I find my subscription?**

On the Plan & Billing page at sitesplaced.com/dashboard/billing — open it with the Manage Plan button on your dashboard.

**Q: When am I charged?**

At the start of each period — monthly or yearly — on the date shown under Renews On. The first charge happens at checkout.

**Q: Can I change my card inside SitesPlaced?**

No. Card and UPI details live with the payment provider. Dodo subscribers get a Manage Subscription button that opens Dodo's portal; Razorpay subscribers re-enter details at checkout if a renewal fails.

**Q: Can I pay without setting up autopay?**

Yes, in India, on Starter and Growth. Use the Pay once — no autopay button: one payment for 30 days or 12 months, nothing renews by itself, and you pay again only if you want to keep the plan. The 7 free days are for autopay only.

**Q: Does cancelling take my site down?**

No. The site stays live until the end of the paid period, then returns to the free plan with the badge. Nothing is deleted.
