# Free store vs premium upgrade > What's included free (everything you need to sell), and what the upgrade unlocks — custom domain, branding removal and more. The paid options for stores are the **Starter plan** at **₹199/month** — your own domain, branding removal, AI-written copy, analytics, custom head code and Meta Pixel + CAPI — and the **Growth plan** at **₹499/month** — an early-bird price for the first 50 stores, after which it is ₹999/month — which adds WhatsApp Business API alerts, the sales boosters, product reviews and 1-click checkout on top. Nothing about taking an order is locked behind either. ## What the free plan includes - **0% commission** on every sale, with **unlimited products and orders**. - All storefront templates, full customisation, the section editor, menu editor and blog. - **Online payments (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets)** via your own Razorpay account — Razorpay's standard gateway fee applies, SitesPlaced adds nothing — plus **Cash on Delivery**, **WhatsApp checkout** and manual UPI / bank transfer. - **Shiprocket** and **Shipmozo** shipping integrations, order tracking on your Track Order page, and PDF invoices. - Inventory tracking, coupon codes, the free-shipping bar, customer messages and newsletter subscribers. - A free `yourname.sitesplaced.com` address with a small *Made using sitesplaced.com* badge in the footer and a *"| sitesplaced"* suffix in the browser tab title. - **500 MB** of upload storage per store, and up to 5 sites on your account — every one of them can be published. ## What the Starter plan adds (₹199/month) - Your own **custom domain** (e.g. `yourbrand.com`) — see [Connect a custom domain](https://sitesplaced.com/help/md/custom-domains/connect-a-domain.md). - **Remove SitesPlaced branding** — the footer badge and the tab-title suffix disappear. - **AI copy** — the *"In one line, what do you sell?"* catalog setup and the **✨ Generate with AI** buttons in Branding and Pages & policies. - The **Analytics** tab — visits, orders and what is selling. - **Tracking & code** — paste Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog or any custom head code into your live store. - **Meta Pixel + Conversions API** — your own Pixel on the storefront plus server-side Purchase events, so Instagram and Facebook ads report real sales. Click **Upgrade** in the header of your store dashboard (the plan badge next to the title shows **Free**, **Starter** or **Growth**), or go to the [pricing page](https://sitesplaced.com/pricing). 2. Choose monthly or yearly billing — a year is priced as ten months (₹4,990), so two months are free. 3. Pay by UPI or card. The store switches to the Growth plan straight away; your products, orders and settings are untouched. 4. Connect your domain in **Settings → Store details**, and the badge and tab suffix disappear on their own. ## Good to know - The **Starter** plan (₹199/month) gives a store its own domain, badge removal, AI copy, analytics, custom head code and Meta Pixel + CAPI; the selling features (sales boosters, product reviews, WhatsApp Business API, 1-click checkout) need **Growth**. The **Student** unlock (₹99 one-time) removes the badge on student portfolios only. - Prices shown in other currencies on the pricing page are region-based equivalents of the same plans. - The early-bird counter on the pricing page is a live count of stores on the Growth plan, not a marketing number; when 30 are taken, new subscriptions are ₹999/month. - If you let the plan lapse, the store keeps running on the free plan: the badge and tab suffix return and the plan-gated features (AI, analytics, tracking code, Meta CAPI, WhatsApp Business API) pause. Products, orders and settings are never deleted. - Razorpay, Shiprocket and Shipmozo are free on SitesPlaced, but each provider has its own fees — check theirs before you launch. If you accept online payments through Razorpay, Razorpay charges its own standard gateway fee per transaction; COD, WhatsApp and manual UPI orders have no fee at all. **Q: Do I need a paid plan to accept UPI or card payments?** No. Connecting Razorpay is free. Starter is about your domain, branding, AI, analytics and Meta Pixel + CAPI; Growth adds the WhatsApp Business API, the sales boosters, product reviews and 1-click checkout. **Q: How many products can I add on the free plan?** Unlimited. The practical cap is storage — 500 MB of uploads on the free plan, 5 GB on Growth — so keep product photos reasonably sized. **Q: Can I publish two stores for free?** Yes. A free account can hold up to 5 sites, and each store publishes free with the badge. Storage is counted per store. **Q: What happens to the ₹499 price if I subscribe now?** ₹499/month is the early-bird price for the first 50 stores on the Growth plan; after those spots are taken the price is ₹999/month.
